I'm the opposite. From my perspective, what's the point in wearing high tops to then hide the detail under jeans?
I mean, each to their own, and it's all good
I can’t deal with the crumpling of denim around the calf if they can’t sit lower, but yes, horses for courses. I mean, each to their own, and it's all good

Obviously you're happy with them but what are they like for fit, quality and weight?
Always bought plain/not as graphic branded t shirts for more average days and under hoodies to keep my graphics fresher for longer and these would save me a lot of pennies
ETA: I tried a couple ages ago, iirc hanes and fruit of the loom but they were absolutely rubbish.
American style loose fit, decent weight cotton and retain shape and colour as well as anything I’ve worn. For the price it’s definitely worth trying a couple! Branded I tend to wear Diamond or Stussy.. and Stussy are terrible for shrinkage. I slept through the 3s dropping on Saturday! Probably for the best, I have a pair of denim 3s from a few years ago that look 90% the same so not sure I would have worn them that much.
The Ambush AF1 turned up Sat, they're even better in person. The leather quality is top-notch, box is designed so the swoosh tips hanging off the back don't get bent which I was worried about. Really clean-looking show.
In regards to being "weird" and wiping shoes down after wearing them, I'm guilty as charged. Not the soles but I'll always give new pairs a spray with Sneakers ER repellant and then use a baby wipe to get any marks off after wearing if needed. I do have a lot of pairs which helps them not getting battered too quickly and also rotate the Summer to Winter with pairs I'll wear in any weather (Gore Tex AF1s for example). I do think sneakers look better worn and won't ever shy away from creasing.

How are they compared to diamond? I haven't worn a stussy t shirt in about 10 years so don't know what they're like now but have a couple of diamond t shirts shame it's not stocked anywhere anymore and have to buy from the states, have it with a few brands, now including the hundreds as they've just closed the UK store Will order one though, if I don't really like it I'll use it for work

Selfridges had them online this morning today. I heard about it 20 minutes after they released and got as far as adding them to the bag before being informed they're sold out. It seems that unless you live on Twitter / have no life other than being in Sneaker cook groups the average person who has a job stands very little chance of acquiring anything with moderate hype around it.

Agreed, although they only had smaller sizes I think (I'm a 10) so not too gutted I missed that restock. Baffles me how Nike do their drops now, Tiffanys were FCFS at 8am but the J3 Retro were a 15 min raffle. I've not seen one person wearing the Tiffanys though, seems everyone bought to resell!

I don't understand the Nike drops. The Tiffany were actually a 3 minute raffle I believe - you enter the line and then they decide who they'll grace with a W. Other releases have the 15 min and some are FCFS.
Nobody is going to wear the Tiffany and if you see someone wearing it they're probably fakes unless they're a football player..
A question for the knowledgable....
Middle aged spread has happened to my feet (as well as my waist line).
What flat shoes will fit a wider foot? I can't fit in Chucks any more, I used to love my Simples, but not seen them for years. The Nike skate shoes are too slim.... any ideas please?
Thanks!
