Order Confirmed for the Trophy Room 1's...if they actually arrive, looks like I got myself a super rare pair of kicks smile

Jesus your the first person I've seen win a pair, congrats!
Cheers man...fingers crossed they actually get delivered!!!
That's a bit of luck!

Between being backdoored and all the botters out there, it was pretty hard to get a W on these.

Would like to see them in person, not sure I like them as much as the packaging they come in, that looks cool.

Valsport Magic Run or Magic Trek.

Not cheap at full RRP. I tend to buy them on sale.

For example:-

https://www.energystore.fr/en/2284-magic-run.html

I'll probably get these next. Bargain at £100 or thereabouts.

Made in Italy too.

I'll be in Italy in May - gonna root about for some MII stuff.

I'd definitely seek out some Valsport or Diadora Heritage. Preferably N9000's.

You really ought to try the Kangaroo made in Germany.

I agree the Diadora made in Italy are great, the leather in roos is just nicer along with an aesthetically pleasing toe box shape.

Got some. Got a pair of these....

And they're very nice - but i think outta the box, brand new the Diadora are 'nicer' and possibly a little better quality.

I've got 3 pairs MiG Roos and they're very nice but they don't have a classic silhouette that I can relate to/remember from my youth. That's important to me, for some reason.

Whereas I think the N9000 is an all time great silhouette.

And from a personal point of view Diadora were exotic even as a kid (especially their kangaroo leather football boots). Roos were embarrassing as a kid, in this country at least. Stupid I know, but it's something I can't forget.

Let the flaming begin. getmecoat

I like wearing trainers that were considered embarrassing in my youth. I'm wearing a pair of Golas today and would definitely buy some Dunlop or Hi-Tec.

No flaming from me though, we like what we like.

I get it. I've got some Hi-Tec Silver Shadow. Very uncool when I was a kid but it's definitely a classic silhouette.

Nostalgia is a powerful emotion.

Didn't win the trophy room J1 lows, but I did pick up the Turtles Adidas Shell toes this morning.

Swings and roundabouts and all that rofl

Oh and I've still not sent back the Work of Art AM1s, I think they'll end up staying but I just keep telling the GF they might go back so she thinks they're not actually a purchase. They'll sneak to the collection soon I think.

I also have those

But I think a fairer comparison would be something leather like these

Which are beaten by these

And those trumped by these

Ahhh what the hell do I know?! Could go on forever biglaugh
