Valsport Magic Run or Magic Trek.
Not cheap at full RRP. I tend to buy them on sale.
For example:-
https://www.energystore.fr/en/2284-magic-run.html
I'll probably get these next. Bargain at £100 or thereabouts.

Diadora Heritage are still my fave highest quality trainers.
You really ought to try the Kangaroo made in Germany.I agree the Diadora made in Italy are great, the leather in roos is just nicer along with an aesthetically pleasing toe box shape.
And they're very nice - but i think outta the box, brand new the Diadora are 'nicer' and possibly a little better quality.
I've got 3 pairs MiG Roos and they're very nice but they don't have a classic silhouette that I can relate to/remember from my youth. That's important to me, for some reason.
Whereas I think the N9000 is an all time great silhouette.
And from a personal point of view Diadora were exotic even as a kid (especially their kangaroo leather football boots). Roos were embarrassing as a kid, in this country at least. Stupid I know, but it's something I can't forget.
Let the flaming begin.

I like wearing trainers that were considered embarrassing in my youth. I'm wearing a pair of Golas today and would definitely buy some Dunlop or Hi-Tec. Whereas I think the N9000 is an all time great silhouette.

No flaming from me though, we like what we like.
Didn't win the trophy room J1 lows, but I did pick up the Turtles Adidas Shell toes this morning.
Swings and roundabouts and all that
Oh and I've still not sent back the Work of Art AM1s, I think they'll end up staying but I just keep telling the GF they might go back so she thinks they're not actually a purchase. They'll sneak to the collection soon I think.

I also have thoseAnd they're very nice - but i think outta the box, brand new the Diadora are 'nicer' and possibly a little better quality.
But I think a fairer comparison would be something leather like these
Which are beaten by these
And those trumped by these
Ahhh what the hell do I know?! Could go on forever
