Shock drop on the J4 Military Blue this morning. I was too slow for my size sadly.
Did you get notification for this? Snkrs never seem to notify me. Just checked for a 12 for my brother but none of them left frown

I don't have notifications enabled. Someone mentioned to me yesterday that a shock drop was happening at 9am CET.

I checked at 8am this morning and nothing. Checked at 9am and nothing. Then about 9:30 I looked and size 9.5-10.5/11 were sold out and then some smaller sizes gone.

I think shock drop is generally so unfair as it favours losers who live on the app. The good news is that there's meant to be quite a bit of supply and resale prices do not seem high. If you're really after, you may be able to pick these up for a bit over retail.

I've got notifications on but got nothing on the app. Annoying.

There are people who do. Or they are part of a cook group and know about this stuff.

They might even have an automated bot to check. Sometimes they do shock drops / restocks of things which sell out in seconds.

They don't give notifications, they want you constantly checking the app.
There's loads of them though, you shouldn't have trouble getting them in main drop, they're re-selling now for retail plus fees pretty much.

Unfortunately, my collection is really nothing special, and I've definitely slowed my buying pace further in the past few years. Weekdays mean steel toecaps (Grisport Chukkas currently), so it really comes down to the weekends and I often find I wear the one pair those two days. This weekend I've been wearing Campus '80s. I like them. The '80s model was a really nice release; it comes in a lift-top box which looks very retro with two pairs of laces and is, most surprisingly of all, leather lined. I admit I don't know if it's real leather, but I said before that the Puma Suede feels far more premium for having such a lining, and it works the same here. Feels like theft knowing I bought them from End for £36.

I must take stock of my collection at some point to give you a more definite answer. As far as favourites go, the Milano remains my all-time favourite. Of those, my favourite release was the petrol green/blue and silver size? exclusive one from, I think, 2013. For an infinitely wearable staple the Stan Smith must get a mention, but I've only owned a single pair of those and I don't ever remember being blown away by the comfort. I am also partial to a Gazelle, but thus far I haven't really bought the same style in multiple colours (Milano and Samba Super notwithstanding). I would've had a burgundy pair of Gazelles if the Campus '80s hadn't cropped up at just the right time and at less than half the price.

Being in Northern Ireland, the SPZL exhibitions have always been out of my way. They're not a million miles away and a cheap flight would probably put me right into the cities they're being held in, but I've just never been. Have you? It looks like there's quite a communal element to the exhibitions because everyone is there for much the same reason. Although I understand the most recent launch had 'influencers' rushed to the front of the queue rather than the familiar faces. For a semi-amusing fact, the only SPZL release I've ever bought were the Samba in the Trainspotting colours (black and slime). I never once wore them. One SPZL release I do regret missing out on was the Warszawa. I don't remember ever loving the colours but I thought the design of the upper was really quite nice.
Yeah I went to the Blackburn one, it was great really nice people from all over, ended up in a pub after and had a great time! I am in kent so it was a fair trip but well worth it, now I am off social media I missed the London one shame as it would have been good!

I have a fair few SPZL trainers and plenty of normal originals. Some of the best released imo are the oyster holdings x adidas, 350's and handball tops were amazing quality, I am just missing the yellow handball tops from that set! I have loads of boston supers and 2 pairs of marathon tr's. I have 2 pairs of dublins they are a great trainer and probably up there for my favorites.

I love a lot of the flat soled SPZL, they have that old school shape and a nice short toe box. They usually have a great story and a fair bit of thought behind the shoe, this has changed slightly recently but I still enjoy them.

Both very different, the Samoa are lovely, the zx are very plush with lots of padding and are heavy trainers, both great quality!

Looking for a new pair of trainers for an upcoming trip to Lisbon and summer.
Ive been out of the sneaker loop for a few years and all mine are battered.

I’ve seen some diadora n9000 italia that I like. How do they fit? I’m a 9 in adidas ultraboosts, 9 in asics 360 and 9 in new balance 574. My Nike are a mix of 8.5 and a 9. My nike air max 1 are 9 and a tad too big.

What size would you go with.

Anyway heres a pic

I've got lots of N9000's and I'm a UK9. Never felt the need to go for a different size.

I had to go half a size down for my am1s, everything else barring dunk lows is an 11.

When you look at Nike's OG Waffle Racer silhouette, it's easy to see NB's inspiration for those -

Where do you get them from. Don’t really want to pay the £240 they are asking.

Those N9000's look very nice. Any idea how they compare to a NB 574 on width?

574's are very wide. N9000's aren't quite as wide. But I've got proper wide feet and have no issues with N9000's. Wouldn't have so many pairs of them if I did. Not exactly scientific but hope that helps.
