Anyone used one of these trainers refurb places? And can recommend a decent one?

I've couple of pairs of older Nikes that are looking battered but are quite rare so don't want to get rid of them.
Seen some advertised on Facebook but never used them.

What sort of work are you looking for? Resole, paint?

More of a paint round the sides of the sole and repair a lace loop.
A pair of Air Max 90s and a pair of 95s.

Quite possibly my most favourite shoe in my collection? Brought out of hibernation and given a rare outing.

I just hope the hold together as I’ve had a few pairs disintegrate on me lately.

No, it spit a bit which i missed in the car but i got caught by hailstone on the walk back from the shop opposite my house(about a 12 precise second walk)

The full thing lasted about 30 seconds, had i waited in the shop for them 12 seconds id have missed it completelybanghead

Yeah I popped out for a walk (from work so wearing nothing interesting) and it was brilliant sunshine. Got 5 mins down the road and the sky opened. Took shelter then eased off but was on and off like a tap.

Honest question - Not Laced ? as in conventional bow.... what am I missing ?
My new balance end up way too tight with the laces left over too long, therefore I guess I've answered my own question perhaps ?

My Awake Air Ship arrived yesterday.

Quite a nice pair although not sure about the fake 'aged' look on the midsole. Sizing is a bit of an issue for me. They feel a little narrower / tighter than my J1, i'm not sure if they will break in and stretch out a little.

Same, I end up doing a bow and then tuck the laces in the side. Looks awful irked

I tie a knot.
Cut off the excess.
Dab of superglue on the knot.

Job jobbed.

That's pretty ingenious. My feet are too skinny, I need to be able to untie/tie them to keep them on snug.

Nothing wrong with bunny ears though smile

I do tie them quite tight myself, I just use a shoe horn to get them on.

Happy with these. Nice mix of materials. More padded than regular models too.

Has anyone ever had the wrong product delivered by Sports Direct and then tried to get a refund on the £4.99 return postage? Like trying to get blood out of a stone. They certainly won't be my first choice to order from next time.
