Just popped in to say the day went very well.

9 TVRs escorted my Bro-in-Law Barry on his last "great shortcut" :.

Good stuff. Glad it went well.
Thanks Dicky.
The second image was supposed to have been a 2 minute video of 9 TVRs valiantly trying to keep up with a 6.7 litre turbocharged hearse arriving at the Crematorium, but I can't seem to post the fast moving clip. frown

Tomorrow it's the turn of my Baby Brother...

Good morrow fellow Trivialites wavey
Slept like a log last night after going to bed early, obviously needed it, but awoken to find it's still raining!!!

A nice turn out there glenrobbo, and a lovely send off for your brother in law, I hope that today goes as well, thoughts are with you and your family my friend.

Interesting pequod, I strangely thought that fishing vessels were called boats!! I'm guessing these bad boys are on the industrial sized side and not a little two man job!!! Excellent work by the way, I used to work with a chap who'd spent a few years working on a trawler, hard, hard graft that is, huge respect for those that do it!!

Frustrating day - need a large gin soon.
Travel agent, local hospital, covid travel clinic in Christchurch, testing lab all saying different & contradictory things about what & when I need for flight to Germany . If they tested my blood pressure right now, I'd fail on that count. No hair left to pull out.
Would quite like to break something. furious

Marvellous. I'm not certain if there is a collective noun for grandchildren, but I think "clutch" would be appropriate there.
A clutch of grandchildren. With all smoke coming out of the bellhousing I'd wager, if Big George has any say in the matter.

Hope today goes well, old boy.

A marvellous collection there p, excellent stuff.

Incidentally, should you require any more empty bottles in the future then speak to Bobbers.

According to the "Skill Set" board in the hangar, one of his attributes is "Master Bottle Emptier"

Worth bearing in mind.

Large G&T in hand, weber warming up for pork steaks. BP a little lower now. Cold outdoors - winter has made it's presence known.

And 'appy birthday, Macca.

Mrs Bobbers is a philistine, she had brown sauce with my Cottage pie!!! Weirdo!!!
I like both Worcester and brown sauce in a cottage pie
In? IN???? You like brown sauce IN your cottage pie???
Yes, IN. In with the mince whilst it's cooking to enhance the flavour.

I know it's odd, but I like doing odd things.

That's not odd, that's just enhancing the flavour. Ignore Bobbers, he's just strange and from Sarfampton hehe

Excellent tee there Bomma!! And I believe my skill set is correct!!!

Slopes, you make a valid point!!! smile

I've spent most of yesterday and this morning reprogramming and proving out a job, it's a complex job worked about a centre line with a blind hole on the opposite side of a bore which has to be in line with the detail I've programmed, proved out the detail in a piece (I before e) of spare material so I know that's correct, now I've machined the detail on one of the components and step drilled/flat bottom drilled the blind hole through my detail, took it to inspection who informed me that the CMM isn't working as it's currently covered by a tarpaulin because the roof leaks!!! rolleyes
