Surf's still up is it old chap? Maybe you should think about one of these:

I think I've still got mine somewhere smile
“I love the smell of Chelt’nam Ladies College in the morning”.

Sorry, wrong film hehe

I've finished Cinderbobbering, I've stopped jumping around like a looney and I've changed out of my sequined evening gown and Stilettos, I'm now sat on the sofa contemplating a beer!!!

I have been and loaded the caramavan up for the sloepseseseses holibobs to the sarf west.
Packed a couple of paddles as we may need them

Been downloading books to my phone from a free website library for the last week or so and so have about 60 books to work my way through if the weather gets that bad. If we hadn't elected to take the mutt with us, we would be alright as Lady Slopes could go in and out of shops to her hearts content but we did, so muggins here will be stood outside with Buster the Slopes Hound

As a mark of respect to glenners and his family, I have decided to postpone tonights' TTFNQ until tomorrow.

I trust you all understand?

Yes a good shout P.
I was just thinking about Glen and his family and what an extraordinary and awful turn of circumstances.
Plenty more Friday quiz chances.

Evening all.

I haven't had much to contribute of late, but I'm still lurking in the wings, as it were.

The grandchildren are coming tomorrow and a BBQ is planned and possibly a walk along the seafront.

I've stopped buying French wine in favour of the New World stuff - Majestic do a good rose from Martinborough, NZ. I can recommend the food in the Martinborough Hotel, if you're down that way.

That's all for now.

I'm more upbeat than I was earlier ,stayed in bed till 3pm almost , missed the first half of Sweden game but apparently didn't miss anything exciting .

There's another game starting in 20 minutes ,I forget who's playing .

Sorry, it's taken me a while to decode this.

In essence, it's from a very excited Abbreviations Dept who are doing a secret rush job for tomorrow.

TTSNQ

The thing they're most excited about is being able to book a ghoster at Double Time.

You are too kind Your Scrumpness but we will be a bit further south east although i have been to Pengelly Services* several times in the past
* just don't ask about that one rofl

We will be staying in Bishop Sutton - sort of - so if some grumpy balding, myopic short arse holds you up in your daily driving with a fibreglass monstrosity, a rather petite* long suffering wife and a dog that thinks it could take down the Indominus Rex from Lost World, then i are sorry hehe

*but beautiful is that okay dear?

Buster the Slopes Hound, who firmly believes the old adage it isn't the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog hehe

IOTN -
First thing i mentioned a while back, Lady Slopes potentially had an issue with a lump but it turned out to be a benign cyst thankfully.

Second thing - hospital have been fairly useful for a change, so no hoops to jump through this time

Third thing - despite GP's being next to useless and refusing to prescribe a certain medication - iirc it's about £2k a month - and passing the buck back to Addenbrookes, they've promptly gone and done exactly what they said they wouldnt. banghead

Oh well, i can go and hold loads of people up tomorrow driving through the south west rofl
