Good moaning!

A few days ago I deleted the Daily Mail APP. It’s a hateful putrid pit of “journalism”, although often I’d go straight to comments, which most often consisted of vitriol towards the DM.

Can anyone recommend a good news APP? (Apart from Aljazeera)

A 3,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 post congratulations is winging its way to our resident Quizmaster Pequod from sunny station F.
Well done chap.

Sorry for missing the quiz last evening but we just weren't ready in time.

Philip Phillop the beekeeper has successfully removed the bees but not without smashing his nose into a low beam in the bedroom whilst carrying the Bee Bundle out of the room with his bee hat on.
He's now sporting a nasty looking gash across his nose!

He seems happy with the bee's though.

A busy week ahead for us two here as we lead up to getting hitched next weekend.
Hospital visits, both of us to have our second jabs at the local town hall, shopping for lots of celebration ingredients etc. grass cutting etc. The list seems endless.
Hopefully agent M and I will be getting away from it all on some stunning countryside walks most mornings.
Have a good day everyone.

Keep an eye on a certain Trivialists post count chaps!

Good morrow fellow Trivialites wavey
A trip into the city for us today so I can set up a new bank account, this unfortunately means interacting with the great unwashed peasantry of Southampton, the only positive thing is I get to visit both the Lego shop and H.Samuels so I can at least peruse toys and watches!!

Morning bongtom, good to see you posting old chap, I don't do newspapers, app or actual print, and only watch the news once a day, I'm not a fan of journalists, but I hear from others that the BBC news app is acceptable.

Morning Magoo, please give Agent M a huge belly rub from us!! I'm surprised Philip Philop didn't drop the bee bundle after cracking his nose open!! yikes
Good luck with all the stuff leading up to the wedding!!!

Well done pequod on achieving that colossal perst cownt. bowclap
Would I be correct in assuming that your current guise is a reincarnation and you have many more to your credit from bygone times?

Magoo, good luck with the pre-nuptial preparations. About time she made a nonnest man out of you! wink
Are you engaging BobbersEye FFS Inc to do the catering, or are you getting professionals in?

Bongtom, good to hear from you.
I don't do newspapers, the only thing they are good for is fish 'n' chips,
& I take those with a pinch of salt.

I do like a bit of topical political comment from Jonathan Pie though.
He can be found on the Tube of Yew.
Top ranting. ranting

Dry but overcast here oop norf. A bit clammy.
Especially there.

Saturday.
I'm sure there was something on the agenda for Saturday... scratchchin

Good afternoon all.

Sorry, I missed the quiz (again) yesterday - I sometimes doze off after, and sometimes during, Wheeler Dealers and wake up too late to precipitate. Best of luck Magoo for forthcoming festivities. Has anyone seen a Range Rover?

I cancelled our Greek island holiday today. In the first instance we should have been there now, but we re-arranged it for 8th July on the basis that with zero Covid cases the island should be deemed OK.

We may go later in the year but with HMG fannying around we're a bit fed up with making plans only to have to unmake them.

Having seen the answers to last nights quiz, a small bonus is also on offer if you can guess the name of the bike David Essex raced in said film.

The bonus? I might not be sighting in on you for a while hehe

Douboe bonus on offer to anyone who knows the name of the person who did the actual racing scenes on the bike in place of Signor Essex.
The double bonus? Bobbers isnt allowed to give you a bare hug for the rest of the year yes

Thanks Glenrobbo.
There's not much pre-nuptial prep to do really. I shall shower.
Madam M,mad Carol, and Bev will sort out the grub and I'm in charge of a booze run later this week.

There's only six of us which is just a normal summers Saturday evening at chez nous anyways.

Oh and a bow for agent Ms hair. She's busy at the moment, she's in the hedge at the bottom of the garden sorting out an insurgence of some sort. She keeps accidentally falling out through the hedge and I find her sitting outside the driveway gate waiting to be let back in.

British and Irish lions V Japan is on at 2.15 Chanel four shortly if anyone is interested.
