Bon Jour Magoo, evenin' here . Having a Mexican flavoured meal. The meaty bits of which were grown here. Where in Fr are you ( approx)?
Spent a little time in Med coastal Fr 30 years ago. Some beautiful places.
Much of rural France is beautiful, and much of Paris in interesting.Spent a little time in Med coastal Fr 30 years ago. Some beautiful places.
I'd like to see New Zealand, but suspect it won't be until I retire.
Morning all
It's been a busy couple of weeks here at Bomma HQ. We reached a T junction on our journey, we needed to decide whether to turn left or right. As we're a couple of strange fish, we've opted to go straight on instead and see where that takes us.
Quite possibly into a field of wet grass and sheep st and headfirst into an icy stream but you never know. We could end up somewhere nice in the Med for a while. We'll see what happens.

I don't know if Bomma's back, Bobbers, it sounds like he and Futtette are getting further away. And why not? You're only young once.
There have been lots of messages on my family WhatsApp this morning: my nephew, his missus and 2-month old baby boy and their dog Moe (they live in Turkey) were evacuated from their home at 01:00 hrs because of an approaching wildfire. It was just a few hundred metres away. Luckily the wind died down a few hours later, and the fires were brought under control. They returned home at 05:30 hrs, having stayed with friends during the crisis. Phew, that was a close one!
A while ago they experienced an earthquake that caused a bit of damage, followed by the pandemic.
It's certainly an idyllic life they lead out there!
At least they shouldn't be troubled by any flooding, as they are quite high up out of tsunami range.
IOTN, it's a bit "meh!" here oop norf this morning. There is a feeling of something ominous about to happenk. Hard to describe, it feels heavy.
I think I'll go and sit on the toilet and squeeze my head and see if that improves things...
