The questions for TFNTQ have been sorted and i am giving you advance notice, you will need to get your thinking caps on for some of these. Provided i have a decent signal, i will be looking to post the quiz up around 7pm ish and you will have until 8.30 ish to get your answers in.
That will be on Friday as usual, I presume?

Anything gun-related, by any chance?
Yes it will and no, sorry

I've just awoken from a lovely kip on the sofa!!!
It was supposed to be changeable weather today, but it appears to have been dry and sunny pretty much all day!!

Bobbers! Madam M has a significant birthday coming up at the end of this month.
She would like a smart watch (android)
Payments facility are not important. So it's email and text, fitness tracker generally.

Would you or anyone else have any ideas and recommendations please?
Oh and it can't have small text as she needs to be able to read it when out and about without specs.

Thanks in anticipation chaps.

Depends upon the budget i guess, i have a GX Smartwatch that was £75 and it can do everything pretty much but is sometimes infuriating with its desire to play music or videos or answer calls through it.
Otherwise i like it. Few horror stories about them exist but so far, so good as far as i am concerned

Tonight, Lady Slopes is working and i need to make my own tea.
Went to the local shop, bought a four pack of rolls, a four pack of chicken burgers and am just about to consume the lot.

Altogether now...music you fat ba has anyone seen his Lordship recently?
Be interesting to see if he partakes of the inaugural TTFNSQ

As slopes said it depends on budget, but I'd say look at the new Fitbit Versa3 or Sense, they have a decent sized screen if cost is of no concern maybe a Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch but they are silly money, there are some with mahoooosive screens but they are Chinese and an unknown quality, Mrs Bobbers has a Fitbit which she's had for a few years and the battery life on it is unbelievable, most Fitbits will last 6-7 days between charges!!!

I have a small pair of binoculars which are 12x25, they're ok but not great for seeing the squirrels at the bottom of our garden, i noticed earlier as i was using them that my left eye is pretty useless while using them!!!

Salmon, wrapped in tarragon and parma ham and served with taters, veg and a lemon butter sauce makes for a tasty meal.

I called a company today that a friend has used for remapping his car and van, told them what car i have and was surprised when they said they'd had some really good results both modifying and mapping them, apparently there's a Transit Connect with the same engine running a hybrid turbo, uprated intercooler and a few other bits which they remapped to 180BHP and 425Nm of torque, from an engine which leaves the factory with 113BHP and 270Nm of torque!!!

To Bed.

To sleep, perchance to dream ( once more of cheese and other things ).

It's been a good day. The grandkids have treated me with kindness and compassion.

Mostly.

Just a couple of tantrums, but I soon regained some self-control.
I don't think they noticed. paperbag
