I can't get back to sleep after Mrs Bobbers alarm woke us up, so much for enjoying a couple of lie-ins!!
Today to keep myself busy I'm having an extended Cinderbobbering session!!

I am teaching myself to play piano. It is going reasonably well.
Nice trivia! What are you using to learn? Traditional beginner books and/or an app like Yousician? We have bought my daughter a piano. I used to play and would like to restart, but have forgotten so much of my sight-reading!

Mood gurning ovary booby! wavey

This morning's elbow test results were encouraging: no wood detected, so all is good for another day. I'm such a lucky lucky glenrobbo. smile
Last night I dreamed of no cheese whatsoever, a situation I camembert, so I'd better spend my day Caerphilly.
It's a beautiful sunny clear blue sky day here oop norf, perfect for laundering and drying the bunting on the washing line. So I might crack on with my smalls and give my Special Billy Connolly Incontinence Pants a jolly good sluicing whilst I'm at it.

Then I'll just take it from there...
I love the anticipation of facing the unknown, when anything can happen and probably might.

Yousician? Wasn't he the main character in Catch 22?

I loved that book. cloud9 The film was pretty good too.

Good morning all.

I am trying not to use the Big G and am now using another search engine, the result of which is that I have had to change my password.

Nothing much happening today, except a visit to the local Shell station to fill up ahead of a trip westwards tomorrow to attend a wedding.

Bright and sunny here.

That's all for now.

Another consequence is that my old user name has reappeared. White Stiletto is no more.

Ah, a fellow G-extricator wavey I do enjoy a good game of DuckDuckGo these days. E-mails are proving a bit trickier, but a plan is in place.

That's right Bobbers. No other user names - I didn't resurrect the first one as I hadn't used it for years and I couldn't remember the password. White Stiletto was born and is now a candle in the wind. PH HQ hunted me down and here I am.

That's Orwell and good, but how will you escape the steely gaze of Cambridge Analytica and their ilk?

I don't think we can, but rejecting as many cookies as possible is a start. Big G didn't like it and asked me to confirm my preferences every time I used it. I got fed up with it and have moved elsewhere.

Fed up of being the product. As for Facebook, as soon as an alternative social network gathers enough traction that enough people and businesses migrate, I'll delete. However, that day seems a long, long way off as not enough people understand and/or care frown As such, I run it in containers and turn off as many trackers/cookies as possible!

Big G repeatedly demand that I inform them of my DoB, as they are required by law to keep a record of it. Really?

Just fek off!

And I refuse to venture through the portals of Babel/ Facebook. yikes

I have considered the pros (few) and cons (a plethora) and it's just not for me. nono
