I discovered my problem when I was out clubbing one night, swapped from lager to vodka and orange and within three drinks wanted to fight everyone, happened the same the next weekend only I did start a fight and ended up having a kicking by him and his mate, my friend suggested the connection so I decided to stay away from vodka for a while, some years later I went onto vodka after a few beers, and ended up looking for a fight later in the night, vowed I'd never drink vodka again!!!

A very nice lunch has been had with our farmer neighbor's and other neighbor's also. Good laugh and nice food finished off with a dram of Calvados.
A snooze has been had and an agent M ramble is in the offing.

I'm familiar with most potatoe drinks particularly with the Irish brewed one and I normally come back from Ireland with a bottle or more after visiting.

At lunch today everybody has come to the same conclusion about the nutcase in our village and have been supportive to us.
Some comfort, but they agree with me it's not in my best interests to be giving him a Magoo hug!

We may pop into the river bar/shed for some refreshment a bit later as long as it's not too tatters later!

Thanks Bobbers. I've seen a fair bit of the program allready mind.
Us coupist's are of the opinion it's a badly prepared car by people that don't really know the car very well.
Mine is a bit faster than that one and there are many all over Europe running much bigger and safer power.
Most are tuned and programmed by Fc performance in Castle Coomb including mine. Same chap that runs Sabre tuning that does the ford rs mark and st etc. amazing results.

Yes, I see what you mean, some big figures for just a manifold, hybrid turbo and remap, seeing as it supposedly had standard induction and exhaust!!!

I do like a massamunn curry, even if I've no idea how to spell it.

I've spent some of this afternoon sitting in the garden reading, wearing only a pair of shorts, enjoying the last of the Summer sunshine. I suspect I won't be able to do that until next Spring.

Spicy pork belly for dinner tonight, it's already smelling wonderful.

I've seen examples of similar & really don't understand the phenomena - surely a skinful is a skinful . Alohol is alohol.
Had a friend say th same of whisky. Two shots & wants a fight. Can get falling down on beer/ wine - without aggression.
Disclaimer - I worked as a barman for a spell, in th later '80's.
I pops in……

Yep whisky is my kryptonite, one measure and i will be trying to fight everyone.

Vodka, at one time i could drink it until the cows came home but since the covpoxlurgy i cant stand it. Shame really as there is 3/4 of a litre of Absolut in the fridge

I pops back out again……

That reminds me, the Chief Constable wants a word with you old boy. I don't think it's anything serious though it might be an idea to wear your shorts around your waist rather than use them as an ad hoc sun hat.

Anyhow, we're having a curry too in a bit. Lamb naga, chicken tikka bhuna, rice and tarka dhal in fact.
I'm assured no otters were harmed in the making of the tarka dhal.

"No Mr Bomma, we don't use any otters at all in any of our dishes"

"You can make my naga a little 'otter if you want, the 'otter the better in fact"

"Pardon?"

"Doesn't matter. Stick a few poppadoms in too please"

Foggy, Compo, Cleggy & I have been racing down the hillside in an old bathtub mounted on an old pram chassis and wheels. Great fun!

Just tucking into a mega pie: Leek, ham, onion & mushroom, with carrot and swede and cauliflower cheese to accompany it. NOM!
And my usual OSH.
