Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life Volume 37
Discussion
Change of mind on the next drink, i'm going to finish up my Kilkerran Heavily Peated, which it actually isn't compared to some of the proper beasts i've had!!
Tomorrow will be tough for both of us, we're going to see our old neighbours, a genuinely lovely couple who moved to Downton, he unfortunately has terminal cancer, he was given 6months to two years about three months ago, he likes a good whisky so i'm taking a couple of special bottles from my selection for him to try, Mrs Bobbers has already said she'll drive so we can have a few drinks!!!

I haven't posted for about 2 months , I've had a splurge of sarcasm and now going to sod off back to the darkened room to be alone for a few more months .
It's a simple life.
I haven't spoken to anyone since Monday .
Sorry to hear that old chap, you're welcome to stay here a while longer, we're a pretty inclusive bunch, if a little unorthodox, strange, slightly mad, unconventional, and er, weird!!!It's a simple life.

I know it's vacant as Battert has been in there sorting out the wiring, there's one socket working now but no light as yet. Mind, it won't be a problem if Finale prefers to be in the dark anyhow.
There's the benefit of a good gap under the door, ideal for an untroubled pizza delivery until he's ready to come up to the Residents' Lounge.

That's a relief , I had Jack Regan on hold to get down there pronto in the Granada 2.8i to nick the crims .
I tried Bergerac first but his old Triumph wouldn't start and there was muttering about a DI Barnaby bloke .
No need to worry on that score, the rozzers' side of things is all squared away by the Chief Constable. I tried Bergerac first but his old Triumph wouldn't start and there was muttering about a DI Barnaby bloke .
If you'd like to meet him, I'm popping out for a pint with him tomorrow lunch? You're welcome to join us, I need to drop off a crate of hand sanitizer for him.
Gud ev', roast pork wiff apple sauce & roastie spud & kumara ( drizzled in olive Oyl & manuka smoked garlic salt) & little round green things has been consumed.
We've shift'd our longitude 1 hour east.
Before th weather changed for th worse this morn, I played amateur chimney sweep, has been persistently piss'ng down since lunch.

Morning/evening chaps
It appears grey and overcast again through the curtains, I may update this weather forecast once I've got my fat arse out of bed!!
That grub sounds rather nice paua, especially the manuka smoked garlic salt, we have a couple of different salt/pepper/garlic/chilli grinders from a place on the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight, adds a really nice subtle flavour to whatever they're applied to!!!
Thanks for sorting out a room for our latest guest Bomma old chap, I'm not sure if he stayed or not, the door's still closed but that doesn't mean anything, he seemed a decent sort!!

Good Sunday morning trivialists.
Suns out down this way but could get a bit damp laters.
Nothing planned yet apart from agent training oh! and porridge.
We watched the last 3 episodes of ' Mare of Easttown' last evening. Not bad a watch for under £200!

My parents are oop norf in their motorhome. Had planned to be coming back this weekend.
Their fuel tank is nearly empty, so they have to decide whether to try and find enough diesel to get back home (and risk running out of fuel on the roadside) or stay where they are until the fuel supplies get sorted.
My father seems to be developing a liking for pies and mushy peas so he probably wont be too worried about staying a bit longer.
Fuel supplies near me are running low. Sainsburys petrol station in the next town has run out of fuel, but the small petrol station in my village still has fuel.
