Oh, lawks! The regular bookbinder wasn't free so a newcomer has been let loose on Volume 36. Deep red calf with geometric pattern endpapers. I know! It will stand out like a sore thumb amid the British Racing Green calf with marbled endpapers. The Hippies have a lot to answer for.
Can you not rein him in? It's just not going to go with the other Volumes!!! You know very well that it'll trigger several bouts of CDO!!!! 550man said:
It’s starting to fill up in here now. I can barely see across the room to the padded vestibule to check if it was hosed down last night.
That sounds like good news for you Bobbers.
Ah, White Stiletto, the term is ‘self assembly’ is it. I always thought it was ‘shelf assembly’ (probably because I first head Sean Connery use the term in a low budget political thriller - his acting was rather wooden) and was so confused about why so many people were putting up shelves, why there was an entire industry and pine forests focused around shelves and, ultimately, what kind of assembly shelves needed in any event.
I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I can confirm that it was not hosed down last night!!! That sounds like good news for you Bobbers.

It's good to have hobbies.Usually.
How goes retirement? Settling into owning your own time? Think of all the disused garages you could tour around! You could write a book?!
Because Rich Duisberg works ten times faster than I do, I became a major contributor rather than co-author. It's a shame really because we were going to call it A Book With Two Dicks.
Anyway, I'm off out to lunch. First time in a long time. It is to celebrate what would have been my late mother-in-law's 100th birthday.
Happy Birthday, Alma

It's funny you should say that. Rich Duisberg, motoring journo of this Parish, approached me about the Humer Unbeam thread and wouldn't it be a good idea to turn it into a book. Five volumes so far.

Are you not able to multi task?!?!
But you do raise an interesting point about it being mislabelled!!!
Today I will mainly be continuing with the risk assessments I started yesterday, I have however been given some pleasant news, I have been asked if I would continue my work with the Alpha's for the time being and keep my early shift too!!!
Bobbers, please be very careful working with those Alphas: they can become highly aggressive and quite belligerant when they are "in must".But you do raise an interesting point about it being mislabelled!!!

I've had a busy morning dealing with stuff and things, as well as being supervised by a very diligent Robbopoppetlet, who is keen to ensure that I maintain the highest standard of Robbopopsnessness.
I shall now partake of a light lunch, and a nice cup of tea.
Hope this one doesn't get spun up to 13,500 rpm and end up all over everywhere.
Yes, 550Manperson, I do actually possess a very high quality teaspoon, which I am loath to risk in such a dangerous scenario as presented itself yesterday.
It is a very rare 1904 fforbes & Quantrill Stirling Stirrer: they were the renowned Spoonmakers to the Empress Victoria and many European Royal Families, and it was hand-crafted in the finest traditional manner by their finest artisan of the day, Herbert Henry Austin Percival Rowbottom.
It was handed down through my family, and was originally one of a set owned by the Romanov family, and was "gifted to my grandfather as a token of gratitude for his valour in the troubled times just prior to the uprising."
Or he may have just grabbed it and done a runner before the Bolshevik mob turned up, baying for blood.
Whatever, the provenance is undisputed and it's value is beyond estimation.
Krupp? The mere mention of the name makes me sick to my
stomach!

I like you, you can stay!!! We offer very reasonable rates in the guest rooms here at Trivial Towers!!!
Just swinging by. I'll take my old room for the night. Please ensure the seagulls are cleared from the balcony. I hate it when they nick my chips while I watch the sun set!McAndy said:

I hate it when they nick my chips while I watch the sun set! Will sir be joining us for a mildly rowdy game of strip canasta later? Will sir be requiring a pitcher of absinthe with his evening meal?
And now if you'll excuse me it's time for my afternoon kip!!
Here you are! I've been away for a few days and you've snuck off and opened a new volume!! Btw, someone is stripping the copper from volume 36...
So/sew/sow would Sirs like another quiz nite (sic) tonight?
Hope all are well and the court appearances have been successfully negotiated?
Good evening.

I fully expect that'll be Constable Dunstable, he likes to finish a bit early of a Friday and pop over to Greenfield's to "collect his groceries" as he eloquently puts it. Best leave them to get on with it, I reckon.Anyhow, I for one am looking forward to the Friday Quiz if it's going ahead?
