Very very pretty, but bugger me! As you might expect, the price is Olympian as well—£190,000/pair (just under $300,000 as of this writing).
I was also curious - these speakers are actually quite cheap eek in comparison to some

We've all been there, scrolling past random crap when suddenly 'wow! I really like the look of that'. It doesn't have to be good/useful/practical/cheap but there's just something that tickles your fancy.

Let's see assorted, appealing stuff...

They look like a school technology project or something someone made in their shed.

And I know my girlfriend would end up either

1)Putting a cup of coffee on one
2)Dropping something on it
3)Chipping the edge off with the hoover
4)Scratch it with something as you walks by

A week into ownership, so even if I could afford it I don't think I could handle the stress.

I'd quite like this drinks cabinet. The chap who makes them is based near Chichester and usually has a stand at the Goodwood Revival. The quality and craftsmanship of his work is outstanding.

I’ve been looking for something to drown out my neighbours’ barbecues - this is perfect! Anyone fancy helping design a fuelling system?

I note it’s misdescribed, too, so maybe I can go in with a low ball offer (all the jet engine collectors will be looking for Olympus)
A biking mate of mine is a 30yr experienced RR aero engineer at Filton, used to work on these. He could probably well assist! hehe

There's a number of similar tables available but this expanding circular dining table is fascinating.

I had lusted after a Linea mini espresso machine for a while, i bought one earlier this year.

Next on the list (has been since I was a child) is an Eames lounge chair, but I don't really have the space or home to justify it at the moment:

Another fan of the Eames chair here.

I also like the Wegner shell chair, but way out of my price range until the Chinese, gawd bless 'em, started churning out cheap copies on ebay.

£250 for one of those, and it's not completely terrible.

Sure, it's this guy:

https://edwardjohnsonstudio.squarespace.com/

My dad was a joiner and spent quite a long time talking to him at the Revival a couple of years ago. He's quite a hard man to impress but my dad seemed pretty awed by the techniques he was using. I might be misremembering but I think he said he created the wave effect by heating and bending thin pieces of veneer and then bonding them together.

Thanks, there're some beautiful pieces on his website.
