Rampant mint? Sounds like a problem with Polo.
I won't ask but I know that it can be a bit of a strain on the old knees.

Keep yer pecker up, chap.
Thanks old chap...

ION: What's the collective opinion of the Renault Alpine A110?

I have had no dealings with the modern A110, but a mate of mine had one of the earlier Alpine V6 versions in the late '90s and it was a most impressive and quite rare thing here in the UK. The performance and handling were very impressive.
I would say the newer variant would be even better, and a distinctive individual choice for the non-conformist.
I'd be happy to have one to smoke about in, provided I could get in and out of it without dislocating a hip. smile

I have started my Mini picture thread in Classic forum but it's taking too long .

Morning paua! wavey
I did toy with the idea of posting a link to the Aimii Stewart version, but I thought it was a little bit too frantic for this late hour in the dormitory. Then I looked at the Wilson Pickett cover, but I thought the original grainy blurred video captured the joy of the time.

Enjoy your Zooming. ( I dunno where you find all that energy. wink

Just got home after an enthralling night at the observatory. I’m afraid we were left with the what is this dark matter bit that’s missing off the equation given that we live in a universe where galaxies are accelerating away from us faster as time goes by? question. No chance of any sleep now!

Dark matter is certainly a taxing subject for the old grey matter to ponder, Hammo.

I'm just going to check out Peri's Mini pic thread before I lay me down to sleep.

There we are, Blue Monday.

If anyone wants to dig their Joy Division stuff out and give it a whizz on the old Dansette, knock yourself out smile

Monday.

Grey, damp, dismal, miserable. As is the weather.

I'm just off to Tesco for essential supplies.

New Order? D'oh, of course. Formed from the remains of Joy Division following the death of Ian Curtis.

Thanks for pointing that out old boy. I generally get better as the day goes on.

Didn't i read somewhere that the Andromeda Galaxy is accelerating towards the Milky Way and at some point in the future, will collide with it creating a new Super Galaxy? It won't happen for about 1.5 billion years, so don't have any sleepless nights just yet.

Just came across this whilst in the Sanitorium and found it highly amusing. The author should be given honorary TT Accreditation considering his approach to a somewhat serious subject matter:

Well what an eclipse last night. Up here on the fringes of the Wall with Nicola, the moon completely disappeared into a cloud filled rain soaked sky. Never saw a thing.

On the question of dark matter, I think the SLK has started dropping some on the drive.
