Many congratumalations, Byker and the family. There's nothing puts a smile on the face like having a new small person around.

IOTN I took mine for his first jabs down at the local quacks this morning. A small amount of squawkage but all in all a successful mission.

I have left over Jambalaya for lunch. Which is nice.

The Ebay moron hasn't put right HIS cock up that only affects MY account .

I will get it removed or I will remove all my future selling .

That'll learn them !

Think of all the fees they will lose when I sell something for £3.99 and make 54p profit .

The buyer bought 2 items of the same genre from 2 sellers , the other item seemingly arrived broken and posted the feedback on my account .
What a Div .

Many congrats, Byker. And many commiserations, 1000M.

Good afternoon, as it is now - I've been AWOL this morning, in Bawnmuff. I decided to have a morning out, either in Lymington or Bawnmuff, and as i haven't graced the latter with my presence for a while, I decided to brave it.

And, two massive traffic jams later, there I was, picking my way through the rough sleepers in the doorways of closed department stores, and wondering why I bothered. Still, the walk along the promenade was nice, and the sun was shining.

Tomorrow, I have a visit to my GP for the annual extraction of some blood, for analysis, and discussion at a later date, so I'm on a diet consisting mostly of salad, chicken, and water until tomorrow lunch time. Wish me luck. I'm planning curry and a beer for dinner tomorrow evening.

In other news, there's not much happening, although I have to collect my sister and brother-in-law from Bawnmuff Airport on Friday, they've had a couple of weeks in Spain at a friend's villa. And I've just heard from a good friend of mine, apologising for a lack of contact as he and his lady wife have been in the South of France, at their holiday flat. I keep asking myself why I don't disappear off sausage-side for a few weeks. Perhaps I should.

Oh well. Another reduced-calorie meal this evening, then I'm off the hook for a while. Hopefully.

No , sellers cannot give bad feedback to buyers ,them's the rules .

Here's another one .

Couple of weeks ago , Bidder on one of my items had the worst "positive " feedback imaginable , many many " not paid for"

or "this person is a waster , please ban them " , but all of them in the positive column because of the rule above .

They didn't pay for my item , I had to wait about 5 days before I could cancel for non payment and then I offered it to the under bidder who I had already messaged and was happy to receive the second chance offer and bought my thing and paid for immediately .

There's a really nice old car going through auction this weekend , can't afford it and I am the wrong person to own it as it

would just deteriorate in my garage .

It's lived in Italy almost it's whole life , with very little use and is immaculate and IMO under estimated by Auction house .

It's just lovely and I will try and watch the auction to see it sell .

Exceedingly rare car now as all the others have disolved to tindust .

I've been to Bawnmuff once and once was enough, apart from the gardens near the sea front, it really isn't all that special imho.
I do however, rather like Swannage and it may be to do with the fact i have to drive through Corfe Castle to get to it but i do like the little place.
Lady Slopes likes Swannage because it's full of shops that sell tat that she can buy 400cwt of rolleyes

That must have changed after my run in with eBay. I won the bidding and sent the money. The vendor immediately posted a non-payment complaint and sold the item to someone else. Or stiffed everyone in sight, I'm not sure. Anyway, I complained to eBay and put bad feedback. The vendor emailed me all hurt and put out as to why I could possibly do this to him when all he was doing was trying to grow a small business and left me hair-raisingly bad feedback. Then I received an email from eBay saying they would overlook my non-payment this time but if I did it again I would be banned.

I stopped being a eBayer that very day.

There should be a sticky daily Ebay moan thread . It's a clusterduck of epic proportions .

I might stop soon too but I have a large car part which could get me big ££££££££££ ,only thing holding it back is it will

have to be collection only due to size . It's out of a 1978 Ford so should be highly desirable .

I might list it this weekend if the fortnightly 80% off seller's fees offer appears in my inbox again .
Everyone says use Facebook marketplace but FB just makes me shudder .
FB can FO .

Swanage is still relatively unspoiled, we had many family holidays there when I were a lad, and my sister and I arranged a plaque on one of the seats on the pier in memory of our dear departed parents - which reminds me, I must go and give it a polish at some point. Just the plaque, you understand. Not the pier. It means that I can have fish and chips for lunch from the chippy as well.

That could be a day out some time next week. Hmmm...

That area of Dorset is my families ancestral home .
My dad , his 2 brothers and their parents all now rest in one graveyard in Lytchett Matravers .

One lot of cousins and their mother all live in / around Bouremouth ,Poole

I just looked at Google maps but couldn't find it but there's a road with family connection name .
Me and sisters visited it when there in 2018 to lay dad's ashes to rest .

ETA......I put my surname into Google maps with Lytchett Matravers , a road popped up named X road ....bowtie

I might revisit and claim by family land back .

or not .

I sent a particularly scathing email to fleabay's uk head honcho after some unscrupulous nurk stitched me up and they took his side, despite their repeated announcements that they "protect the buyer"
bks do they, they protect whoever makes them money end of story.
In this case, it was £18 all in, not a lot of money granted but this thief took the money then when i chased him up denied ever having heard from me. So i went back to fleabay and raised a complaint and to have him kicked off, they said they were going to investigate but came back to me within an hour saying i hadn't given the postage address
bks - i clearly had
And that the seller would refund me the money and there was nothing more they could, or would, do on this occasion
bks did he refund me.

That was 2018 and i swore then in my scathing email that i would never buy from their jumble sale website ever again and i have been true to my word bar one exception - the TT Residents parking permit - and i will never buy from them as long as i live.
Bunch of absolute charlatans who could not give a flying fhoot about the people who use their site as long as they are making money.

Apologies for my absence, it's been a busy day!!

Strangely I quite like Bornmuff, the gardens are a pleasant wander as is the promenade, there are a few nice places to eat and drink too!!

Haven't been to Swanage in a very long time, maybe it's time we went back!!

Tonight's culinary delights were a cheese and ham omelette due having eggs to use up!!
