My apologies for missing th last few quizzzzes - it's approaching winter at 42S & Sat morns (sometimes) require a lazy cuddle up, before one is ordered to make cof^2e^2
Well, that's a much better prize than an all-expenses spared day trip to Brighton with fish & chip.

You are making the right choices, paua! yes

Vulcans , Argosy, Beverley, Belfast,...

The VC-10s at Brize were known as "The Shiny Fleet".

Vulcans I know, they used to wake us as they flew into Finningley when on Exercise. They have a full nose and cockpit at the JetAge museum at Gloucester - well worth a visit.

Argosy, Beverley, Belfast, were way before my time - you're obviously older than me biggrin

VC10's were known as a lot of things...none complementary biggrin
I was more Hercules, Harriers and Tornados (GW1)...

Ding Ding ,we have a winner .

https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2022-0...

hope that link works.

Just look at it .Read the full description .

If accurately described ,just lovely and in my opinion should sell for 20000 +

they also have a barnfind fire damage Dino Spyder and a Gamine .....noddy car.

Ding dong that is nice! A beautiful example and I’ve always liked that colour combination of white exterior / red interior. I think whoever buys it will be a very happy camper. My second guess was going to be the Fiat 1500 / 1600 Coupe, with the same pretty bodywork as the Maserati brother’s OSCA coupes cloud9

Belated congratulations to Byker on his great family news! wink

ETA : the ‘94 Maserati Ghibli in the same auction as the Fiat used to belong to member of PH, it came up for sale last year just before I bought my 430 but alas I just wasn’t quick enough.

Byker I guess you're from my neck of the woods then. I used to sit at the end of the runway at Finningley watching the planes come and go when I was a lad in the 80s. The airshow was always a highlight of my boyhood summers.

Busy, busy times here at present. Transition to the new role at work is keeping me well occupied but we're out for drinks tonight to say goodbye to a couple of people who are moving on. I may fall asleep in my pasta.

I suggest you head North.
If you head South you will be in the Solent!
