Nah, not a patch on the wonderful smell of Castrol R! cloud9
Ah, Castrol R and hot brakes. Takes me back to the Formula Vee days, and the 750MC paddock. Proper motor racing.

Morning/whatever everybody! I've just returned from an early morning trip to Lymington. Why did nobody tell me that it's National Park Like A Halfwit Day? It took forever to get out of the car park, as I had to wait while several OAPs tried to insert/extract their bloated SUVs into/out of parking spaces designed to accommodate Ford Anglias and original Minis.

However, it was a lovely morning apart from the parking shenanigans, and I've just had coffee and an almond croissant. I'm about to have another stroll, then I won't have to go out again while the Qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix is on.

Although I'll need to record tomorrow's race, as Little Miss O'Logical and I are going to watch Jr play cricket, along with my future daughter-in-law and a very small dog. So that's tomorrow afternoon taken care of.

Carry on.

Well done on the first park run spikeyhead, just done a 1.7 mile walk while awaiting Mrs Bobbers, popped into a cycle shop on route, they have a very nice retro style Raleigh in there for £415, seriously tempted as I keep thinking about getting back into cycling!!

Early check-in whilst partaking of coffee (no buns) and a quick review of the to-do list still to be started/completed ... so many tasks, so little time!

First came FFS...

Now we have FFF .....

Came out of the same crate as the Blue Monday one, it did. Provided I don't get it mixed up with the one marked "Blue Steel" we should be good to go.

Anyhow, we're off to Norwich in a bit. Have a good day, y'all.

You ought to move over to East Anglia at this rate, Northamptonshire may even give a grant to improve their gene pool. smile
He did, well Norfolkshire anyway wink

No EPO for sale around here in the major shops, shelves have been empty for weeks, but no idea why.
A little Googling reveals no global shortage and apparently it comes from The Americas somewhere....

Anyhow, morning all. Is it cold with you outside or is it just up here in the grim wastelands of the North?

An old WC Fields quote : ''the first thing I do when I get up in the morning is smile..... get it over with'' wink

Pointless Fabs trivia alert : Peter Blake was paid £200 to design and build the set for the Sgt.Pepper sleeve, enough to pay for about half a Mini Cooper in 1967.

Oh what's not to like?
If he buys all the gear
But keeps drinking all that beer
Then a frightening sight will be clear!

I have been in work this morning doing PAT testing - and yes, that is the correct phrase - so am ver tired*

I have also washed Yoshi, see picture

And bear in mind all i did was wash her, nothing else.
I did however use a spray sealant on her the last time i washed her**

*** guy who owns the shop below has two maisonettes as HMO’s but i swear blind he is breaking the law as between two three bed properties he has about 15 people living in them. Okay, there are two couples so that takes it down to 11 but even so.
We have asked him ver nicely to ask them to keep it down and he essentially laughed in Lady Slopes face, so he leaves me no choice.
A noise complaint log is being filled in as we speak and will be presented to the local council.

Eh, I thought Bobbers had a bike, wassall that about, then?

Evemorn all! wavey

Today, I didn't buy a bike, which is unusual, as everyone seems to be peddling their Veloce hither and thither, replete in all manner of lycra and 'elmet, fone wiv earbuds (rolleyes), water bottle, earnest visage, and no mistake ... until they fall off or adjourn to the nearest hostelry for refreshmentness.

ION: I have checked all the perimeter fences to ensure no monkeys can escape, not that we have any at the moment, but 'tis best to be sure.

IOTN: Jensen FFF 100, what a beast that was....
