That'll never work, you can clearly see the googleflange is inverted, which will cause a vacuum on the sphincter multiplier return inducer, creating a negative suction implosion, resulting in a catastrophic syphon failure!!!glenrobbo said:
Looks like P5BNij will be having a bit of a break next month ...
but i fail to understand the reasoning behind it all. I get that the RMT is protecting it’s workers from alleged redundancies by Network Fail* but surely bringing the country’s rail network to a grinding halt is counter productive. But what do i know, i am sure our esteemed Ninky Nonk Pilot will be along soon to explain it for those who don’t understand it so we can understand thier grievance.
* i say alleged because i haven’t really looked into it to be honest and seeing as i work less than 1.5 miles from work, i dont have a need to use the railways.
Morning/evening chaps
Sun and clouds this morning, unsure of the outcome!!
A stressful day yesterday and I don't think it'll be any less stressful today, we have 2 out until Thursday doing exams which leaves us very short staffed, and we have a priority job to try and program and get on a machine tomorrow!!
Paua that might just work!!! Now all we have to do is borrow his Delorean!!!

To the matter in hand - the route cause of the RMT’s action is the incompetence of the TOC’s management and their reliance on current drivers doing overtime (working their rest days which is not compulsory) just to cover the basic roster and timetable. The TOC concerned does not want to train up sufficient drivers to cover all of the work and a lot of existing drivers do not want to do the overtime, ergo, crap service from the TOC, but all the public sees and hears about is recalcitrant, greedy drivers wanting it all their own way. It was ever thus and always will be until enough drivers are taken on and trained up!

Sorry Nij. I omitted to type 'IOTN' before I started the last -entirely unrelated sentence regarding your imminent break from your Ninky-Nonk and those troublesome trucks.

Sorry to hear about the dreaded lurgy, ApO. Hope it passes you by swiftly and without incident.
Just caught up on all matters trivial having been busy all day yesterday with inky skin related stuff then kicking a ball around with boy number one.
IOTN my Giulia is being given a thorough servicing by the nice chaps at Northern Alfa Performance today which as luck would have it is just down the road from my mum's house so I'm working from her dining table and eating her biscuits today. Dark Chocolate Gingers no less. They're rather excellent, perhaps I could persuade Battert to add some to his next comestibles order.

IOTN, I've just had to fork out just over £700 for a new alloy wheel and tyre for the Jag as a follow on from my earlier encounter with a fox and one of Warwickshire County Council's newly installed kerbstones, whereupon the inside of the original O/S front rim was damaged, unseen. Grrr, harrummmphhhh, botheration and bugger-me-sideways etc.
IOOTN, a very thoughtful chap on one of the Maser facebook groups is kindly parting out a wreck of a Biturbo he just bought on ebay, selling everything bar the engine and gearbox at sensible non extortionate prices to anyone who needs them. I've bagged a few bits 'n' bobs for the 430, some of which are ten times the price elsewhere.
IOOOTN, the insurance renewal for the Mini and Maser combined policy has arrived, with 90 off last year's price.PS : sorry to hear of the poxy covid pox infliction Apo.
