I have managed some further progress with the fencing, despite getting very very moist.

This was not due to over-excitement, it was just inclement wevva.

Mrs Robbo is unhappy because the fence panels are stepped as I have progressively installed them down our sloping boundary.
Apparently they look awful like that, and she expects them to be all the same height and level with each other along the tops.
I told her I was not prepared to mount the furthest fence panels on stilts to accommodate her strange desires, nor would I install 9ft high panels at the lower end of the run which would block the sunlight from our garden. Plus it would require fence posts over 3.5 metres tall and the longest ones in stock at Wickes are just 2.8m

I suppose I could have erected the posts at an angle to suit the slope of the garden, but I would have suffered from itchy teeth every time I looked at such a wonky arrangement. wobblesillynuts

On a positive note, our neighbour is delighted with progress so far. (They have already contributed 50% of the cost of materials so that's a blessing.)

Robbopopping duties again tomorrow, commencing 08:10hrs. (Lates)
Weather permitting, I will have a 2.5 hour window of fencing opportunity whilst Robbopoppetlet attends Nursery School in the afternoon.

I'm glad I don't have a 4hr drive prior and subsequent to babysitting.

Morneve neighbors, something to test th calibration of th trivometer: every second of every day, 78 glasses of New Zealand wine are poured in the world, And 73 of those are white wine.
I'm sat 'aving a glass of Aussie shiraz, from across th ditch. Yes, screwtop.

Byker, be careful if you have a go on the bouncy space hopper:
Last time I tried, I did myself a mischief when the bloody thing went out of control and I went arse over apex and ended up in the ball pool.
It's no laughing matter nono I could have drowndeded if I hadnt been wearing my Mae West! ( And flying goggles, obvs)

yes
The sad news of Andy Fletcher’s passing away has made me realise just how much Depeche Mode have been the go to soundtrack for most of my life.

The scrumplets used to occasionally search through the hard drive in my car trying to find some ‘decent’ music. It has an eclectic mix of new and old music which I change now and again but they always rolled their eyes as the majority of music on there is Depeche Mode and DM remixes.

A very sad state of affairs, what with that and Ray Liotta in one day. Makes one think, you never know when your number's up so enjoy the small stuff while you can.

Snearly the weekend and my garden will be glad of some attention.

Well I wouldn't go that far. Probably hehe

Trivia alert : 'Villain', made in 1970, was the first film to get past the British censor with the word 'wker' left in the finished cut.

I've often wondered when the slide into modern day depravity started!!!
I've never actually seen the film, but did Burton have a leg off to play the part of an amputee baddy?
Such dedication to his craft. bow

I would have thought unidexter Dudley Moore would have been the casting dept's first choice...

Unidexter?!?!?
“I’ve got nothing against your right leg......... unfortunately neither have you” wink

In times of strife and nagging self doubt, I take a slight pause, scratch my chin and say “what would Pete & Dud do...?” hehe

Currently marooned at oh so cosmopolitan Bletchley, watching one of David Cironi’s YouTube clips about an old FIat 850 owned by a lovely 94 year old Italian lady who bought it new in 1968. Simple pleasures.

That has genuinely made me sad, big DM fan, hadn't heard of his passing.
My all time favourite sing is Enjoy the Silence.

That's a great song. I first encountered it thanks to the Mike Koglin version on the original Euphoria mix circa 1998.

Can someone please layout the running order of the Triviton Platinum Jubilee celebration events as I need to align it with my daily routine.
