Very nice. smile

Have a nice day, Everybody. I have a day off with the kids, which is nice. Will take them to see my parents, which will also be nice.

Overall, I’m looking forward to a nice day.

Which is nice.
Nice. cool

'Ow do, chaps?

Today is a good work day. I'm sitting outside at the in-laws' static caravan by the sea with TMS on and a lovely temperature of around 20 centipedes. I've managed to resist biscuits, waffles and a vanilla slice but going for a curry tonight (with NO BEER again).

Hammo, I'm off to Croft on Sunday. Has Battert sorted the picnic hamper with you or shall I fetch it?

Last few blood pressure readings have been higher than normal and a recent medical at work highlighted the same, plus I haven't seen a Dr since last year so probably time for a visit!!

And yes fatboy18, you can't just drop something like that and not follow it up!!

Hopefully the lower alcohol intake will have benefitted you then. I really ought to have mine checked. It always used to be low bordering on hypotension but last time I had it checked (informally by my mum who's a nurse) it was higher than I'd like. I blame middle age!

Sadly as you get older, your blood pressure does increase. Also, if you are a fat tt like me carrying a few extra pounds, that also increases your blood pressure. Then again, if you are as poorly as i am, most of my medication caues Hypertension so i am fked royally on a hiding to nothing no matter what i do

Well that was interesting, cycled to my appointment, only 1.45 miles, sat for about 10 minutes, in to my appointment, 1st reading was 150/89, 2nd reading was 147/84!!! He did the usual thing of "still too much alcohol, you need to lose weight, it's your age, new job stresses" told me to book a blood test and monitor it at home for a month!!!
And then I went for a 4.14mile ride, 22minutes 35 seconds average speed 11.04MPH!!!

Bought KFC today for lunch after doing the weekly shop, £17 for 2 meals. got home, the order was missing things and the chicken was some of the worst i've ever seen, absolutely tiny. I was so mad that I didnt even neatly pack all my things back in the fridge, i just shoved 'em all in. After checking google rreviews it seems i wasn't the only one. Terribly rated and so many people feeling like it's the worst KFC they've ever been to.

Did you mention to the Dr you were racing to the 30k milestone? I reckon that is the main culprit.

I've no idea why, but when I first read that it registered as 111.04 MPH.

I thought "hellfire, that's getting a bloody move on"

No worries, I've got it all straight now. As you were...

Next time I hear it's Foggy in Hamble, I shall have a whole new image in my head! roflroflrofl

scratchchin I don't think I'll be breaking "the Ton" on my pink bike. It has no fairings, and I'm not very aerodynamic these days. More of a drag really.
It has 18 speeds, all of them are in the slow end of the speculum/spectrum/plectrum/rectum.
Any attempt at increasing velocity is rewarded by severe chafing. This phenomenon probably explains why professional cyclists have that rictus grin/grimace on their faces as they attack an Alp in their skin tight Lycra hotpants...
Oh dear, now I have an image of Carl Bobberty imprinted in my mind... eek
