Having just seen Billy Connolly's latest TV programme on ITV, I think there's fight in the Big Yin yet. He doesn't look like he's anywhere near giving up. Yeah, Parkinson's is a bugger, but the joy hasn't gone out of life for him yet, he's still got phenomenal energy and the twinkle is still there in his eyes. I'd be surprised to hear his obituary any time soon.

It'll be a sad day when it happens, here's hoping it isn't next year.
Well you never know. Her speech started to slow down pretty quickly on xmas day.

Nothing, just historically some PH threads get started on one topic. - e.g. the football team threads, F1 races, F1 speculation.

Saves duplicates and identical threads normally get pruned by mods.

I'm going in for Katie Price, either overdose or suicide.

And, unfortunately, HRH.

It's not "official".

I would love the thread title to be revised to remove both the words "Official" (which it's not) and "Celebrity" - because I would prefer the PH Obit thread to recognise important people who are not automatically classified in the modern scion of inane celebs. People such as scientists, engineers, business people, medical people etc people who have had an impact on the world (good or bad) otherwise than being some sort of "celeb".

Was looking up comedians that I'd forgotten about and was surprised to see Rory Mcgrath still going.

So my votes for him, even though he's not that old.
How does one go about doing that?

I'm curious how he got from 'surprised to see him still going', to predicting his death, even though 'he's not that old'.

I was going to put 'not together' but I wouldn't actually put anything past them, so I didn't laugh

Joan Collins.

Wouldn't it be a shame if someone so loved as Sir David Attenborough died in the same week as HRH The Queen, which would overshadow anyone else's death.
As happened with Lady Di and Mother Theresa.
