5......Bad taste puns after death are permitted , just back it up with "too soon ? " and collect the ticket for the bus to Hell that I am
already sitting on ...
6....."Captain Contrary " and the perpetual puny pun poster are banned from this thread .
TLDR .....ignore all of the above and do what you like , just be nice to each other .

And PLEASE can we remove the word "celebrity" which IS in the title as that is NOT what this thread should be about. Therefore, before 2022 (such as now in December 2021) the thread is people posting who they think may pass away next year. Once we're into 2022, the wait is on for the first and to see if someone guessed correctly and from there on in, it's an obituary thread.
Is it bad taste? Debatable. It seems unnecessary to get all high and mighty about it, it's the type of thing normal people discuss every day.
LaurasOH, you don’t seem to be getting Eric’s and my point at all. It is the idea of this being a thread for ‘celebrity’ obituaries that we are highlighting.
