Last night we had our first proper rain shower in NE Suffolk for well over a month. It lasted barely 15 minutes.

The farmers are not happy.

Colorado. It snowed a week ago, and pissed it done for most of the day (my fault for turning the sprinkler system on).

Currently 31c.

Currently working in my garden for pretty much the first time this year. Wouldn't want it any hotter right now, just wish it could be like this everyday for the rest of spring/summer. Instead, it looks cloudy again tomorrow.

My feelings exactly, UTH. 18 degrees, sunny and no wind here over the weekend, absolute perfection.

A lot of gardeners reporting slow and stunted growth over the last few weeks, especially on veg, toms etc.
Hopefully this incoming warmer spell does arrive and carries on so the plants will catch up.

Should have moved further North.

Still in the red bit going by that map, although a few degrees cooler than Windsor & Maidenhead.

I've not used the aircon in anger yet, which guarantees a cool summer.

You should move up to Scotland, currently drizzly and cool up here on the banks of Loch Fyne. Internet is a bit wk though, having to disable video on Teams calls and can't share my screen biggrin Perfect place for a Starlink subscription.

Back to cloudy miserable skies in Surrey, back to working indoors again.

Yep, the weather forecast always seems to be "warm sunny weather 2 days away". Seldom arrives. I have put my shorts and crocs on this morning and now feel even more foolish than usual.

So true isn't it. Makes you wonder if they predict nice weather coming soon just to keep morale up, then the reality is very different!

We were promised 90% chance of heavy rain yesterday evening and overnight, never appeared.

Anyone else got this quite strong and persistent wind or is it just a Northern thing?

Good news for Colin - the heat is still coming, but watered down to a very pleasant low 20s.

Marked rise in the risk of thunder too...
