Getting quite the light show here in Beds just now! woohoo
In MK. Just peered out the window to see if it was over and big fork lightening across the sky.
Somewhat ironic that we had to wait until mid-October for the longest, loudest, brightest thunderstorm of the year in MK.
Yeah, and even then I think we were short changed. I popped to the shops after it had finished here and to the North and East it was flashing like mad.

Your Ocado vans are nicer looking than the ones we have down here.

Great shot. There is another band of rain moving over, but looking at lightening maps doesn't seem to be bringing any more fireworks with it.

I posted earlier about the thunder and lightning and failed to mention torrential rain ,that abated a bit later but now it's torrential again .

I've now run out of rain water storage capacity , after a long dry summer ran it low .

23 in Central France. Walked to the Hotel de France in La Chartre sur le Loir and consumed some exquisite steak washed down with Pomerol. Long, hot walk back home!

I can't remember the exact dates. But, for several days in November 2006 the London hospital I was working in held therapeutic groups outside in the grounds, as the therapy rooms were too hot due to the weather.

Even up on the Pennines it's warm, 20 in an unheated room and 15 outside.
