Just lashed it down, followed by a big clap of thunder in central London.

Not resolved yet, there's far too much energy in the Atlantic, but good chance of a CRACKING Easter weekend.

I hope so, I've booked Thurs and Tues off too beer

After windageddon overnight, a still blowy Dunwich beach early this morning.

It has now clouded over once again and the wind's up.

Towards Walberswick & Southwold.

Much colder until Sunday - then the winds swing back to being southerlies. Much warmer next week!

Thunder risk today widely across England and Wales, higher chance in more central parts.

Still cool here in Leeds/Wakey territories but nice and sunny. The grass has been raked and cut.

Bloody moss has really established itself this winter so it's going to take another couple of goes to clear it all out then re-seed in patches. Easter weekend is looking reasonably pleasant if not spectacular. I'll take pleasant.

The moss is nuts over the border on my lawn too. Never seen anything like it, and I’m really fastidious with my stripey lawn.

At the moment it’s just… bouncy!

First real thunder event likely to happen tonight and in to tomorrow, as warm air is imported from the South. Dorset to Sussex, and occasionally up to the M4 area.

Wow - got the next two weeks off and have a big list of garden jobs (I de-mossed my aforementioned lawn yesterday) but bloody hell it’s so cold out there. It’s almost halfway through April and I’m wearing g two coats!
