Isn't this what we might call a good old fashioned April? Plenty of sunshine, plenty of rain, never know what's coming one moment to the next? It's quite refreshing.
Great for the garden! My (new...) lawn is ruined by having the new dog running around on it all winter. Hopefully the grass can recover.

Talking of the dog, he's just climbed on the chair next to me and clearly farted. FFS.

Well it will be the latest opening ceremony for the summer thread irked
Not where you’d expect it to happen first, but it’s mighty close and not just the one day….
Actually, Scotland often gets warmer than the South in the spring time/very early summer.

Are we delaying the summer thread? All my weather apps have replaced next week's reported 20 degree and sun for 14 degrees, cloud and an easterly wind frown
Yep, easterly over the North Sea means grey murk in the east, cool winds and sunny spells in the west. Yuck.

Well all the hope of any real sun and warm weather is gone, max of 11 degrees and rain by Friday. What a stinking crap year it is weather wise so far.
Forecast has certainly washed out badly. A week of 20 degrees forecast 7 days ago. I could have tolerated a week of sunny spells and 17, but it's got even worse.

Yucky muck.

23 degrees as we arrived chez nous. Now 10 past 9 and still sat outside in a t-shirt with a glass of Tourraine.

Cheers!
