Morning all, someones stolen an hour...
That's to pay for my extra hour next weekend. smile

Seems to be a lot of folk in this fine neighborhood suffering some stress; you with an errant SIL, GR has an EB & a dicky ticker (as does Dicky) to compound his frustrations of a crappy utility provider. I wonder, at which point in time someone needs to wake up to a horsehead on th pillow to help them mend their ways - perhaps th utility folk would then become more reasonable. It seemed to get a result in th novel/film.

G'morneve all'n'sundry. ( GR, li'l white fishies for brekkie), followed by splitting of firewood - you'd be supervising, rather than participating. Cuppa break on th hour, evry hour.
G'morneve all. wavey

lick Those li'l fishies sound just the job, paua, you're too kind. thumbup

I I don't think I could cope with a whole horse's head at the moment, although I have i.n my past boiled up a sheep's head to make brawn. Very tasty with piccalilly and fresh crusty bread. There's not much meat on a head, apart from the cheeks.
But I would enjoy boiling the head of the CEO of the utility company.
If I was on faceache, I would get banned for that remark, so it's lucky I'm not.
The algorithms* should realise that I am kind and compassionate to innocent horses.

"What about goats though?" I hear Bomma wondering.
Well, if I had my way, I'd sort out that Billy the Kid once and for all. Consider him well & truly foamed, mateys!

Morning all

I'm awake, albeit uncaffeinated, and it's somewhat damp outside but allegedly with plenty of centipedes.

More when my brain is awake.

Hold on a mo, chaps: We'd better wait until Woodstock and his mates have finished their ablutions...

Good morneve everybody!

A busy day yesterday of mostly watching sports on tv, so I employed my speed-reading superpower to catch up on events Trivial:

Cakes. (many and varied).

Foamed goats

Something about Glenners and a neighbour's daughter, in her PJ's. Was she over 18?

Anyway. Dull and wet here this morning, and so is the weather. I could go to watch my son's cricket training session, but that would involve tackling the M27 in the p1ssing rain, so at some point during a break in the precipitation I'll get out for a walk, and then watch some MotoGP.

Glenners, I'm sorry to hear that you have once again been subjected to various travails, I hope that you can fight them off, and come back stronger. Life has a habit of turning these things up in twos and threes, which makes things seem so much worse. We're all here for you, if that helps.

Mmmm, cake...

Thanks for the kind words, D O'L.
Twos and threes I can cope with, but five at the same time simultaneously all at once with one arm tied behind my back is a bit much.

Luckily I've got Percy Veerance and all of you lovely peeps on my side, so we shall prevail.

Bobbers, have you managed to visit the Yorvik Museum? It's a place I've long considered visiting, I just wondered if it's any good.
It sounds like you're both having a lovely well-deserved relaxing time.

Just be careful he didn't booby trap it like last time.

I'm very jealous of Bobbers culinary delights.

This morning I think will be beach, some kunch and then I'll have the drive back with the dirty washing, Asha and a daughters car to rescue

Good morning all.

It's raining out there today.

Plan A is lunch with a friend at a restaurant along the sea front. There is no plan B.

Yesterday was sandwich paradise with bacon for breakfast and a FFS for lunch. Chicken risotto for dinner/supper but no bread involved, nor indeed goats.

Clocks all successfully changed, now for the watches.

That's all for now

Some kunch?

Morneve all!

A damp peri meter patrol completed. A soggy Barnfind has been towelled and is now resting in his bed which will soak up the remainder of wetness before a repeat patrol post meridiem.

ION: Fatso the pigeon is being challenged by a competitor who desires pole position on the bird feeding station and first dibs with the 'lady' paramour, and no mistake! I have considered the odds of him prevailing and have placed a small wager on the outcome. We'll see how it goes...

IOTN: Did you know, the various Soviet military aircraft known as MiG, stands for Mikoyan and Gurevich ( the i is Russian for 'and') who were the founders of the design bureau which began in 1939?

/not many people know that!

More later....

Marvellous picture of Asha there old boy thumbup

Regarding the bird bath kerfuffle, I'll pop over later with the telehandler, see if we can put it right.
It'll cause untold confusion otherwise.

Package? A weapons package perchance?

Plenty of Paveway, Brimstone and Storm Shadow with a bit of luck.

Should make heap big bang, Kemosabe smile
