Tell us something really trivial about your life Volume 39

Good morneve everybody!
Today is forecasted to be dry and chilly, and I will be spending it with my darling daughter at Scumwharf in Pawtsmuff, in my role as bag-carrying donkey while she disposes of some of her annual bonus. So this morning will be largely spent at designer outlet shops. She's had a spectacularly successful year at work, and thoroughly deserves some retail therapy.
And she's buying lunch.
Otherwise, a very noble gesture from pequod, well done, chap.
And a safe journey back, Bobbers, I hope the weather allows you to enjoy the trip.
Stay safe, live long and prosper, as somebody once said.

Good morning all.
Snoopy takes some of the pain away from Monday. Thanks Bomma. As a retiree it doesn't really affect me but it does make me smile.
Yesterday's restaurant lunch was ver' good, I opted for cassoulet Mmmm.
A visit to Bluewater is on the cards today - a good enough reason for spending some time in the Cayman, even if it involves the Dartford Crossing and shopping.
That's all for now.

Morning all, up this morning to no heating and hot water because I forgot to change the clocks when I got back yesterday.
Nothing for breakfast as little in the house, so Asha and I walked to the local store for milk and bread, so at least I could have cereal and toast.
We're off to Antwerp Thursday, but have a house sitter for Asha so we'll have to stock up at some point...
Other than that, I had the best sleep I've had for ages, Mrs B comes back later.

Don't you go getting used to the bachelor lifestyle!!! Nothing for breakfast as little in the house, so Asha and I walked to the local store for milk and bread, so at least I could have cereal and toast.

That's probably the best Monday greeting EVER! Hopefully a portent that things will be changing for the better.
Thanks Bom.
Gude Morneve, mes petits graticules!
Imagine doing the actions to "The Birdie Song", especially the elbow movements: that's your Elbow Test right there, that is!
If you're not quite sure, just watch Woodstock.
Oh. He's not here this morning. He's probably gone looking for his mate, now that Spring is in the air.
As spikeyhead would say, "BOINNGGGG!!!"
Anyway, this morning it's a negative result, no wood detected, apart from all the pinewood that paua has sawn, split and stacked on pallets.
( Watch out for the resin when you burn it, it tends to spit a lot! And it gums up the old chainsaw blade as well.)
The weather here oop norf has calmed down to a dull grey jobbie, no sun, no wind, no rain. A perfect day for cutting back the old toenails to encourage fresh groathe, ready for the summer sandal season. Perhaps a generous feed of blood, fish & bone as a top dressing and some phosphates will do no harm.
But I digress.
Here is the weather summary:
A predominantly North wind doth blow, helping the Bobberses on their way back home from that Yirkshore to Trivton-le-Rice. As long as they stay within the white lines, they should be okay. It's a bit nippy out in the Norf Sea, especially around Dogger Bank.
And now back to the Towers...

Tunneling duty? Hope they have turn-up trousers: I recall watching Colditz as a lad ( in th late '70's).

Mrs paua grew up about an hour's drive from th castle.
Okay, Number One, I have the con.
Whoops! Mind the jetty!
Never mind, that'll soon polish out.
Almost three (3) hours without Trivia.
I have just returned from getting my ears lowered so I'll look good in the presentation box next mumf.
The barber asked me how I would like my haircut.
I said "Can you cut it the same as Tom Cruise has his done?"
He said "Certainly, Sir!"...
...and made me sit on a plank.
Meanwhile, the sun has got his hat on, and my laundry is swaying gently in the light breeze.
A sure sign that it will be pelting down with rain/sleet/hail within the next few minutes.
What are you doing today to make yourself proud?
