Luckily there's a local woman who makes peanut butter, all natural and tastes so much better then the processed stuff I grew up with.
You know it's just peanuts put through a blender, nothing else. It's the oils that produces the smoothness... You could do it yourself, maybe need to add a little peanut oil if they need it, a pinch of saltMorning/evening my little playmates
Since getting up at 0800 I have had my ablutions, taken all the net curtains down which are currently washing with a pouch of whitener, they will be hung out to dry and put back up later.
I've had a telephone appointment with my Dr, which resulted in my dose of Ramapril being doubled to 5mg a day for a fortnight, blood pressure still averaging 136/90.
After breakfast I'm going to wash all the windows on the inside, and use the mould killer/cleaner we have to clean up some mould in the corners of the windows.
After that I may break out the white paint and touch up all the chipped woodwork.
Thanks for the reminder Bomma, definitely a smile making one!!!

Arrggghhh!
Nice local people came to test drive Mini Convert yesterday evening. They loved the car but on return from test drive reported amber then red overheating light on dash. Engine was very hot and a bit smelly so clearly an issue. When it stops raining I need to go and have a look at coolant level but I suspect it may be thermostat or water pump as no hot air being pumped by heater.
As a result I have had to apologise and take off sale. I hate cars!!!

Gude Morneve my little Trilobytes.
I have just returned from Robbopopping/ school escort duties with Little Miss Chatterbox, and I'm enjoying a big mug of tea.
I am, however, in a bit of a quandary, because although I love Marmite on toast, at the same time on the other hand I am a big fan of marmalade on toast too as well also.
I am pondering whether I should consider combining both delicious gourmet delights to tittivate my taste buds.
It's a tough call, I think you'll agree.
Mind you, pâté is nice.
It has just begunned to rain. It is rattling on the roof of the conservatory and the pigeons have decided to shelter under Mrs. Robbo's bush.
The squirrels are waiting for their monkey nuts and the Blackbirds are waiting for their sultanas.
No sign of Boris the Badger lately, but the cats love using the tunnel as a gateway to the underworld below.
The Wisterias are in bud. I have fed them some fish, blood and bone, in the forlorn hope that they will produce more than just the two small bracts of blossom between them this year. This year marks six years since I planted them. I think the bds are waiting for me to pop my clogs before they decide to reveal their true natural splendiferous beauty.
This has been glenrobbo, Oop Norf, reporting for SpringWatch under £200-ish.
And now back to the Triviality....

For me it depends on the thing it's going on. Crumpet - Marmite or Strawberry Jam. Muffin - Cheese and Marmite. White Bread - Bovril. Brown Bread - Peanut Butter and Marmite or Bovril or MarmaladeI have just returned from Robbopopping/ school escort duties with Little Miss Chatterbox, and I'm enjoying a big mug of tea.

I think it was the one about the Eskimo with a broken down snowmobile.

Hahaha! "It looks as though you've blown a seal, mate"
"Well I bloody well haven't, that's just a bit of snow in my beard"
That's disgusting. I like it.
Getting back to the Peanut Butter & Marmite thing, I have just combined the two spreadled on some hot garlic & coriander naan bread, and it's ver' ver' tasty.
Nom Nom Nom!
I commend it to the Towers.
I think I will be creating a nice chicken satay dinner this evening.
Sesame oil
Madras curry powder
Freshly ground fennel seeds
Diced Chicken breast
Onions
Garlic
Peanut butter
Coconut milk
Chillies
Tomato purée
Peppers
Baby sweetcorn
Mangetout peas
Broccoli
To be served with egg noodles and a pint of Doom Bar Zero. Yum.
Good morneve, fellow Trivialists.
I have returned unscathed from my morning patrol, all is well, although the ground is still a bit boggy in places. I suspect that the bogginess will only become worse, and widespread, as a result of imminent precipitation, and lots of it, which is possibly the result of some numpty washing his net curtains and hanging them out to dry.
ION, a clean MOT pass with no advisories for the mighty Up(!), which is good. The advisories from last year (age-related cracking of the tyres and an underfloor heat shield flapping about on one corner) were dealt with, and as I've only done 4,000 miles during the last 12 months, I wasn't expecting anything untoward.
Coffee and Digestives, while I wait for the rain to ease off.
More later.

I must say glenrobbo, that concoction on naan bread sounds disgusting!!!
He's just using up stuff from the Supermarket Dash Mrs Greenfield organised. She kept heading him off from the good stuff. Has anyone else noticed how Dicky seems to be hogging this thread just lately?

I see you've discovered the new "OP posts only" button!!!
I've only just noticed that. What's the point?Anyway, your lunch looks delicious, and very healthy, Bobbers. Are you planning any cycle trips to Buttocks Heath while you're on leave? And what's happening about the New Forest ride?

Lunch was indeed delicious, trying to follow Magoo's lead cutting out bread, spuds and cutting down on alcohol!!
As for the OP only button, it's to enable people to follow a thread without having to wade through pages of banal bickering and off topic posts.
