From Practical Classics Magazine FB page: Sorry to say designer Tom Karen OBE has died. Creator of some the most memorable, original and ingenious designs – from Scimitar, Bug, Robin and Chopper – Tom lived in Cambridge and passed away peacefully at the age of 96. Farewell to a great gentleman.

Dreadful about Ken Block. Inspired a generation and lived the dream. By all accounts, a good guy to boot.
