Same with certain threads. There are posters who think they ‘own’ a thread and will try to shoo off anyone who doesn’t post in line with their wants, even to the point of petty nitpicking.
Guess who I’m thinking of ?
Trump obsessions?Guess who I’m thinking of ?

Talking of which what has happened to C70R the man who could start a fight in an empty room and thought the was the only person on PH who’s opinion on London was of consequence, slagging off anyone he thought didn’t live in London, all while posting about his home and life in Norfolk ! Guess who I’m thinking of ?
There's nowt so queer as folk, or some such saying.
I have on occasion had the temerity to offer an opinion on farming matters, given the extremely tenuous link of owning a farm.
I've given up now down to one particular individual who is guaranteed to wade in on all such matters.
Hey ho, still here regardless!

The entire forum is Carlo throwing turds and the Asia bloke and Guitar bloke acting as the self-appointed expert F1 double act who've been watching since 1746, but who also can't stop catching the turds because they secretly enjoy the warm feeling on their hands. NP&E but with wheels

What the hell do they argue about on the F1 sub forum. I can’t be bothered to read through so much drivel about such an uninteresting sport.
It hasn't always been 'uninteresting'. At the moment it certainly is. Basically, the arguments pretty much always stem from the same couple of trolls who want to start trouble. A handful of posters hope to, despite precedent, have some sensible discussion about the sport and its participants but get sucked in by the trolls. I'm well aware that I should scroll past the contributions of certain posters but I'm far too often sucked in. I shouldn't do it, and I know that, but I seem to feel some sort of sense of duty to want to correct and/or add some context to obvious inaccuracies.

It's the PH way. Someone who knows what they are talking about are constantly nit-picked by dribblers.I have on occasion had the temerity to offer an opinion on farming matters, given the extremely tenuous link of owning a farm.

A recent thread on voluntary police interviews was clearly and concisely answered by serving police and lawyers.
A couple of "experts", based on their experience with the bow street runners gibbered on for ages. The wibblers are also to be found on various anti vax, CT an similar threads.
Nod your head, smile and ignore them

Looking on Welshbeefs profile it says his garage was updated Friday 12th April
Indeed!Bear with me here.
Welshie last posted in July 2022. Rishi Sunak was made PM in October 2022.
Welshie's financial savvy was well-known on PH. He also needed his wife's permission to buy a Honda S2000, from memory, suggesting she controlled the purse strings.
Rishi was chancellor before being PM, so he knows his way around an Excel spreadsheet. His wife is very wealthy.

I’ve always had Mr Sunak down as a bit of a chancer and a charlatan.
Now, if what you are suggesting is correct, and Rishi is actually Welshbeef - it might have changed my mind.
Hell it might even changed my vote at the next election.
Tories all the way!
