Cheap Wuhan Dremel copies. Always seem to out last and out perform actual dremel.
Interesting, literally just binned my Clarke branded 'Dremel', which never seemed to work that well, soldiered on with it for 20 years before finally biting the bullet.

Aldi Rheinbacher Pilsner.
yum

Also the Aldi version of Baileys, 1/3 of the price and tastes much nicer than Baileys.

Not the cheapest, but the Dreamland heated electric throws (£80) are absolutely brilliant.

Easily saved their cost in heating this winter.

Can also be used as an electric blanket, and are fully machine washable.
+1 for this. I don't care if it's something my Nan would have bought, it was brilliant over the last few months.

Wonderboom Bluetooth speaker. Delightfully simple waterproof speaker with great sound for such a dinky thing.

Has replaced various other stereos and radios around the house, use it in the shower, garden, have dropped it, it's gotten covered in sand, water, cement, just keeps on giving and easy to pack for travel.

Tesco Dark Chocolate. 200 grams for £1. That's very cheap, and it's excellent. Not the gooey texture you get with the posh and pricy stuff but just a really nice dark chocolate.

I wanted to try one of those memory foam toppers but didn't want to spend money only to found I'd made a mistake. Someone was giving away one on Freecycle. When I turned up, they said they had a spare I was welcome to and without thinking much into it, I said ok. Got home, installed one, then had a moment trying to figure out where to put the spare one. In a moment of genius, I thought I'd store it on top of the main one. My bed is now like lying in the massive hand of God. You'd think it'd be bad for your back but I now can't stand hotel beds where the mattress is firm as it leaves me with backache in the morning!

Bought a pair of jeans from Sainsburys over 10 years ago. Bought another pair about a week later as I was impressed first time. Had to get them taken up cos I'm a short arse, but I still wear 'em now! One pair is just starting to split at the knee. From memory no more than a tenner a pair, great value!
