Depends it it has pockets.

The Scots get around this by wearing a sporran, but I don't think any of my wifes skirts have pockets, which is a major limitation.

I can think of 3 pairs of trousers that actually fitted to my satisfaction in the entirety of my life. Everything else has been irritating in one way or another.

That would be the only reason I'd consider a skirt. But it still wouldn't be compelling enough. My legs belong undercover.

And that is why I love this forum. I’ve never pondered my trousers other than wondering was that a st or a fart but there will be someone who has had more deep and meaningful thoughts about these things who’s enlightenment on the subject I love to read.

Sporrans are man bags with attitude but they’re still man bags.

Perfect for anyone complaining about the lack of pockets on skirts.

Indeed. Knife in your sock, hip flask in your jacket pocket, wallet in the other jacket pocket, phone in your sporran (and set to vibrate naturally).

100% I would biglaugh

Would make a change from cutting around the house in tiny running shorts when it’s too hot.

So why don't you already if it's just around the house where no one else is going to see you anyway?

As a prolific peeping Tom I find wearing a skirt has opened so many doors and areas to which I previously had no access

No, i like to have freedom of movement of my legs and a tight little skirt would be too restrictive.

Absolutely not.

I really haven't got the legs for it.

True story bro, over 20 years ago now when walking back from the gym after leg day in very short shorts fine young lassie roared across the street that she had seen better legs on a chicken. My ego was unaffected and I hope she’s still single.

I went to a wedding in Scotland, kilts were compulsory for men.

There were about 70 men, admittedly many needed urgent lessons on how to keep your knees together when sitting but all reported that the women couldn't resist having wayward hands when on the dance floor.

Decide for yourself if that is a plus or minus to wearing a skirt.

You're tempting me massively...

I'm currently in central Florida, wearing some nice linen shorts.

They're fitted well, but massively constricting my bks. A kilt, I could absolutely wear with impunity.

I don’t envy you in that Florida heat, ok I do a little. A long time ago now when I was working one of the board walks I remember a bag pipe band coming down playing the length of it in full regalia. It didn’t look warm weather appropriate to me at the time. American bird in the shop, “you’re Irish, you must like this stuff” err no, that’s a Scottish pipe band and not an Irish one, we have history. For the avoidance of doubt I love my Scottish eejit compatriots and I’m just taking the hand.
