She was around for the closing seconds on ebay to make the bid so would have known they won at the time.
How do you know she was?

She could have used a sniping website. I used to.

ETA: I see someone has already pointed out she may have used a sniping tool. And you seem to reacted by saying sniping is akin to murdering babies with hammers.

Is the word bh that bad, it seems some on here have had to go and have a little cry about it, maybe if Lucy Letby is found guilty the judge should just call her a bh and let her go.

be on guard about question askers.
Very much so. People that ask loads of questions tend to be a waste of time in one way or another.
Why?

Yep. Definite classic thread contender.
Here's another couple from the OP getmecoat

GP refusing to issue meds any longer - it's all their fault & not OP's even though he moved over a decade ago / didn't tell them and now refuses to register at a new surgery because "no matter how ill I become I will not be sat in a waiting room full of fat tattooed women screaming at little chantel for hours at a time".

Bad driving from the boyfriend of the daughter of a neighbour in his road - drives a "chav car" and is therefore a drug dealer, but what should OP do?

Don't think you will ever be accused of creating a clasic thread

So my opinion is if she physically bid in the closing seconds then she is a bh for either not paying or saying straight away that there will be a payment delay or on the other hand if she wasn't present and used a sniping tool then I still think she is a bh for using the tool, from what I gather sniping is a lazy mans tools that does genuine bidders out of stuff they deserve to win who actually put the effort in to buying stuff.
You're castigated her for using (or not) a sniping tool. I'm not commenting on your use of a single word (since I made no such comment), I'm commenting on your over reaction to someone using said sniping tool.

You called her a bh for no reason whatsoever. More than once now. And now introducing a completely irrelevant subject. It’s you who’s having the tantrum, everyone else is pointing out she’s done absolutely nothing wrong.

She was following eBay T&C’s, you seem to have invented your own where immediate payment is required.

Just out of interest, and turning things on their own head, given she has paid for it, have you posted it (or had it collected) yet? Would you be ok if she went into a forum claiming this (insert insult of choice) hasn’t immediately posted it, despite this, again, not being part of the T&C’s? Surely if you expect immediate payment she could equally expect immediate dispatch?

IIRC the only time eBay specifically state you must pay immediately is when using Buy It Now. O/P you need to chill tfo tbh.

If you want people to pay especially promptly state that on your listings like I do. I set my auctions to end on a Wednesday evening & state can you make payment by Friday evening as I only get to go to the Post Office on a Saturday morning or it'll be another week delay in shipping.

You barely know how an auction transaction works so I'm not surprised a sniping tool and the reasons behind why they are used totally confuse you.

If you want to leave bad feedback for a buyer , just do it in the comments of "positive feedback "

I sold something and looked at their "100%" feedback , it was crammed full of non payment , waste of time etc etc comments .
Needless to say they didn't pay and I had already contacted the under bidder telling them that it was likely that I was going to offer it to them in 4 days time .

I'm not sure why everyone associates being a bit miffed at someone equals blowing your top, its perfectly possible to be calm yet angry at the same time.

And yes the package was picked up this morning, I would have posted it yesterday if the post office bothered to open on Mondays, I was even going to traipse across town with 2 packages in the rain until someone pointed out the collection service was free.

I do that because its the decent thing to do, even though I could have waited until today to take them there. I know people get impatient when they are expecting a package and it doesn't turn up, that's why I waited outside the post office for half an hour instead of going back the next day.

Sometimes you just do the decent thing, I ordered a tonne of sand of my local builders merchants the other day, he said the delivery wagon was off the road but leave it with him. The next day a fork lift truck arrives with the bag hanging off the front, he drove it a mile and a half at about 3mph down the road so I got the sand as soon as I could. He didn't have to, he could have said tough you will just have to wait or go somewhere else.

Personally, I’d say that calling someone out as a bh in your OP, then following up with the stream of absolute rhubarb and self justification, including rants both at her (including repeatedly calling her a bh and trying to justify doing so), eBay, the post office, ‘why didn’t they tell me’ etc ad nauseam equates to more than ‘a bit miffed’.

What's even more bizarre is repeatedly asking me to apologise, lets say I wanted to apologise, to quote Jim Davidson "who would you like me to apologise to?"

It cant be the woman as I've never met her and she is totally unaware I've called her anything, and it cant be you lot because its not possible to get upset on someone else's behalf who you have never even met and might not even exist.

So who should I apologise to?

Actually you can but you shouldn't it's called false positive and I have had such comments removed and received a warning.
The buyer was a complete chancer but obviously knew his way round the system
E bay say

Any misuse of Feedback is not allowed. Feedback comments should be consistent with the rating. Positive feedback should accompany a positive transaction rating, and negative feedback should accompany a negative transaction rating. For example:

Sellers must not leave buyers a negative comment with a positive transaction rating
Buyers must not leave sellers a negative comment with a positive transaction rating unless they contacted the seller beforehand and the seller was not able to resolve the buyer’s concern

I had similar a few weeks ago.

Just wait the 4 days then you can either cancel the sale and get your fees refunded or alternatively offer it to the next highest bidder.
Just do this

I’ve had it done to me in the past
Also I did it myself! (forget to pay, went away, next time I looked a couple of reminders, plus a sarcastic positive feedback from the seller!)
All part of the game, forget about it.
