Not at all a joking matter; Patum Peperium should be accorded the full respect due to all those English savouries courses that don’t get served any more.

Or, indeed, cinnamon toast for those of sweeter tooth.

Harumph.
Yes indeed, psi, I agree 100%. thumbup

Thanks for the link, glenners! Another internet rabbit hole to go down, but most welcome!

Morning all. Another day of meetings but my son is also wfh so I might avail myself of the blog linked above and rustle up the Welsh Rabbit recipe for luncheon.

Have a good ‘un, folks.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
Another day closer to the weekend!!!
I have absolutely no idea what today holds for me, apart from a rejig of an SOP to include a second tool this morning!!

Heating was running briefly when I got up, which is interesting as it's currently on 17degrees!!

Off to work shortly, I doubt I'll see any donkeys, beefs or ponies on the way in, lucky Dermot O'Logical, but I used to occasionally see slightly bewildered deer wandering in the road!!!

Woke early as Mrs B had the washing machine on timer and got it an hour out so it finished it's spin cycle about half an hour ago.

Good morning everyone. A cool grey rain threatening start so far.
I’m about to do battle with the second half of my lounge. Agent M is asleep in the first half so there will be some huffing and puffing in a while.

I’ve realised bobbers seems to have a lot of ‘tools’ at his place of work.

Fout.

Morning all.

Working with lots of tools is fine if they are on an autochanger, less so otherwise...

I’m off to hit a small white sphere around the countryside today. Got my plus fours and trusty Pringle sweater with diamond pattern on ready.

Good morning all.

It's bright and sunny out there today.

The visit to the dentist went as well as could have been expected, despite much use of the drill. I kept telling her it was safe!

Mrs WS will probably make use of the washing machine today, whites I imagine, as she did the dark stuff yesterday (I ironed 6 T shirts)..

That's all for now.

Good morneve, all.

A bright, sunny but decidedly chilly start to the day, I've decided to take advantage of the promised lack of precipitation and once I've finished my breakfast of gruel with added gruel and fresh blueberries and raspberries I'll be off out for some steppage.

After lunch, I have the urge to go for a drive, so the plan is to head for Sussex, and some of my favourite stretches of tarmac through Midhurst and Petworth. And possibly down to Goodwood. May not be as much fun as it used to be in my Caterham or S2000, but I haven't done it for ages, so why not?

I may be gone for some time.

We have a small tub I've filled with rain water, pond weed and snails from the Welsh pond. We're hoping to entice some frogs from next doors pond. I've added a £9 tiny solar pump/fountain, and it's really good biggrin

scratchchin The hilarious antics of mischevious staff in the lingerie section of a large department store trying to sell brassières that are far too small for their rather buxom clientèle?

Warning: Contains outdated adult humour reminiscent of Benny Hill/Are You Being Served/Confessions of a Trivialite and lots of cleavage.

Thanks for the reminder, Hammo.thumbup You're doing a sterling job in Bomma's stead.

scratchchin Do your balls have dimples?
You conjure up a striking image of your good self in your traditional goff attire, but you need to borrow spikey's shoes to avoid slippage on the greensward.

Well, here we are, back again for another day of mystery, wonder, excitement and Trivia for us all to marvel at. bouncewoohoo
This morning's Elbow Test has indicated 'Negative", which is a good thing, and a look at the weather through the Square Window is showing clear blue, which either means I am not pregnant, or the block in the toilet cistern is still doing its' job. Great stuff!
Today I shall be mostly enjoying the relentless pressure of being retired, trying to decide which urgent task to attend to, and in which order, so I may compile a list. But first, I require another cuppa tea to enhance my special skills, particularly that of procrastination. I am becoming something of a ninja in that regard. bowtie

I can just slip into a transcendental state of mind at will now, without even breaking a sweat.
Not like yesterday at my cardiac rehab session.
Today my sternum is fizzing just like when you place the tip of your tongue across the terminals of a PP9 battery.
A strangely compelling sensation that makes you wonder why you would ever do such a thing. confused
I don't know if it's some sort of galvanic electrolytic reaction going on between my breastbone and the nickel steel wires that are holding it together, or the severed nerve endings starting to fuse back together.
Or it might just be due to these turtley clips:.

Bonnie Tyler, eat your heart out.

On second thoughts, no, don't do that; it would make a mess on the carpet.

Ah well, moustache.
Back later.
