I did a 10 minute Joe Wicks kettlebell work out on Friday afternoon, my legs feel like someone's been hitting them with a bat!!!
That's illegal. nono

Bats are protected in the UK by law.

I'll get Hammo and _404 onto your assailant if I were you, Bobbers.

Time for bed,

I've done parkrun, patio grouting and installed a willow screen round the bins so they now look tidy.

I've also prep'd lunch for tomorrow, brother and mum are coming.

I have none of the annoyances, frustrations or configurations of such devices, for I shun the very use of those tecknerlological instruments of unmindfulness.

I fear such things would drive me to do things I would almost certainly regret.

I prefer to sit here watching Sky Arts Freeview Ch 36 which is currently televising a documentary about the making of Pink Floyd's landmark album "Wish You Were Here".

Much better than getting into a violent rage of furious frustration and hurling electronic torture devices through the bloody Windows. ranting

And breathe.

RIP Sid.
Roy Harper sang the vocals to Have a Cigar. I own over 30 Roy Harper albums.

Syd Barrett

Thinking of Roy James, The Crack Fox - formerly of this Parish - has written another book. It's about Roy James, silver Smith, racing driver, bon vivant and Great Train Robber. He's launching it in a boozer in Leeds next month. If you're up that way. I'll find the details.

Morning all, coffee, quick walk, pack the car then off to breakfast with youngest, then back on the road to return to Blighty.
Text message from Eurotunnel saying their card machines are down and they can only take cash, so that will curtail how many Gins Mrs B can buy.

Today i will mostly be disassembling a bed, ripping up underlay and grippers, then going to collect Tuxedo and trousers for step daughter #2’s wedding in September.
It was ordered online so trousers will be okay, might just be the Tux that is incorrectly sized as i had to guess at sizes.

And what a dreich Sunday as our Scottish colleagues would say.

A day indoors to listen to my music, I think, and maybe read a not-so-improving book.

Have a good ‘un!

Al Murray was very funny last night. He spilt most of his beer all over the front row. Off to the museum today to do Vulcan guided tours.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherecoffee
I've used thecoffee emoji as it's the closest to how I feel this morning, I think I may be coming down with a cold.

Haven't even looked outside yet, but it looks grey and uninviting through the curtains!!

We have a rib of beef for tea tonight, I shall be roasting it on a bed of chunky root veg!!

Enjoy your Sunday whatever you're doing!!

Good morneve, all!

As already mentioned, 'tis a dreich Sunday hereat the Southern end of Blighty, and I'm about to set off for a brief morning perambulation, firstly on account of the predicted 77% precipitation and "feels like" temperature of 4c, and secondly because I have decided that a couple of short walks will do for today.

I notice that the BTCC resumes today, with some interesting support races, so I think that's my day sorted.

Hasta la vista.

Me too. Thanks Do'L.

It's been raining a lot of late. I could do with a couple of sunny days to give me an opportunity to scarify the area formerly known as the lawn.

That's all for now.

We just popped up to Tesco to pick up some Sudafed as I'm suffering sinus pain due to my now resolving cold, it was 6 degrees and raining, it's nearly May for Christ's sake!!!

French are being aholes again, putting on 2 passport agents only, causing huge delays at the tunnel coming back. Mrs B hugely disappointed there's not even any alcohol for sale. Duty free is empty shelves

French 3 hr lunch break must have finished and they've opened another queue. Trouble is there's now such a backlog it's queues of cars and they are just filling trains as they can, so even the delay timings are out the window.

Sat in the queue for passports for an hour, sat waiting in the queue for trains for an hour and now stooped waiting for the next...

They did this at Christmas as well. Might pick a Monday to come back next time
