Today Daughter #1 & Robbopoppetlet were driving a traction engine.
At first I thought she was joking, but having viewed the video evidence, I found it was irrefutable.
It didn't 'arf make a mess of the old tarmac. eek

Anyway, this new chap, Super Sonic, has anyone looked into the cut of his jib? Any inherent sonic boom liabilities for example? Damaged greenhouses, that sort of caper?

Tape the windows in the Members' Bar is my advice.

Like the Blitz.

Put that light aht!

Who are you?

Your guardian angel, sonny.

I've always hoped for someone more feminine.

Late to the party as usual.

I stepped into the magical costume shop, slipped on a sheep costume and here I am.

I skidded on some sheep poo when I landed...

At least I didn't have to take it on the chin this time, but my backside is covered in it.

Still, never mind, it's only grass. whistle

Morning, it is morning isn't it?!? coffee
A crap night's sleep, awake several times, no snot draining issues this time though, just me being I dick and not sleeping well.
Got to drop Rio off for his MOT this morning, and walk into work, it's not far, 25 minutes ish.
Going to be a hard week at work this week, only 2 out of the usual 5 of us in, and one of us is a contractor who's only been at work since the start of the year.

Morning Bobbers, morning all.

Good news re snot, less so the insomnia persisting.

At least it’s a short work week.

Morning all.

My first night sleeping in a bed rather than a field in a while and I had a very solid seven hours sleep.

Now back to sums and meetings.

Spout.

Good morning all.

It's a bit cloudy out there today.

I have to attend a meeting in London this morning. The cost of my return rail ticket is a very reasonable £10, a round trip of 80-ish miles.

Volume 40 - blimey!

We're halfway through Volume 44 under the old system.

I blame decimalisation.

I’m a bit late to the party

Is it fact dress or vicars & tarts?

Went to a C party once, there were Captains, cross dressers and Cats but I had been to a dump and bought an old glass fronted TV cut the bottom and wore it. I was a cathode ray tube. Bloody great till I needed a drink.
Never left a party so sober.

As you were.

It's No 1 Home Dress Uniform with medals Old Chap.
And white webbing and gloves. Rifle, bayonet & sheath, the Full Monty.

Form up outside the block at 08:45hrs.
Parade will commence on the Main Square at 09:00hrs precisely.
Personnel with their heads in a sling are excused parade duty, but will be required to attend the old Sick Quarters which are to be recommissioned after 10 years of closure, due to the heavy casualty toll following yesterday's relocation exercise.
Battert's latest batch of Albanian Absinthe was quite devastating in its' effectiveness. frown
The CO will be inspecting the Sick Quarters at 15:00hrs, so they will need a deep clean and disinfectioningning. And probably fumigation to get rid of the rats and vermin infestation.

Come on, look smart you 'lovely boys!

Did everyone make it safely across to this shiny new Volume 40?
Anyone who didn't make it, shout out now so we can list you as missing in action.

ears

Nope? No takers? Great! Let's crack on with this lovely fresh Chewsday that Bomma has suppied. cool
Please take off your shoes in the vestubule before entering, we don't want to spoil this shiny new linoleum, do we!

I am pleased to report that this morning's Elbow Test went smoothly with no splinters, so it's looking good and boding well. Four bodes are best avoided.
It's a bit grey and overcast but at least it's not raining...
rolleyes

Oh.

Oh well, the lawns need it I suppose .
We should really be returfing with seagrass.

Robbopoppet & Big George are being dropped off in a bit to spend the day with us.
That should liven up the day.

Perhaps we'll make some apple turnovers.
Or maybe do some crafting?
We'll see how it goes.

I'll be back later to find out what happens.

Ta-rafa now! wavey
