Windscreen was frosty for me in Hampshire this morning.

Bright, but so cold. Feels like very early spring, not late spring.

I have to keep reminding myself we're into May next week.

I don't remember anything like this. Perhaps the odd cold snap and certainly the odd snow shower but not this prolonged cold and wet weather.

Yep, another heavy wintery shower just blew through...3C, and pretty grim. From the forecast the next week looks wet, and although the temperature is edging into double figures during the day, it's hovering around zero at nights.

It was 25c yesterday, after snowing on Sunday. Normal for Colorado.

I’m staying in central Edinburgh for two weeks; I took the dog out for a walk at lunchtime and not only was it freezing, it also hailed. By the end of the walk the sun was out intermittently but it was still cold. The last seven months have been a nightmare.

I think it’s more apt to close the summer thread.

Snow yesterday morning and hail storms throughout the day in Weardale. Went from 10 to 3 in seconds. I was thinking back to the lock down when we were in the back garden drinking beer in the sun this time of the year.

Plenty of hail storms (showers) across Linconshire yesterday too.

Thermals went back on for work this morning. I really thought I'd put them away till November
