Southwold is a lovely little place indeed, with a brewery and distillery.

It would've been nice to have had a chat about our specialist interest smile

It's the quintessential, English seaside town. We often head there to walk the dog on the beach.

Woke up to heavy rain and howling wind in Preston, garden gate banging around.
Dark and cold too, like a winters morning.

As soon as I've headed north up towards BossHog terrority (Carlisle) it's lovely blue skies.
Strange.

Nope.

Really cold, really windy and soon to be really wet here in NE Suffolk.

After such a lovely and weekend, it's back to the usual grind.

We were at Legoland on Thursday/Friday and got lucky with nice Spring weather. The weekend wasn't bad either.

Grim this morning though just as the kids go back to nursery and I was hoping to get a load of outdoor jobs ticked off.

Spring was almost Summer the last few days, however it's been pissing it down this morning, it cleared for an hour, then we had hail. It's now 3 degrees and sleet. Derbyshire.

The hail's back now.

It used to be the quintessential English seaside town. WIfe and I used to walk there most weekends, but now those tits with popped collars and hunter wellies (mid summer) infest the streets with their little Tarquins and Ruperts. Lost it's community feel big time.

However, will say it's a cracking place visually and for an ice-cream.

Girl sat opposite me is now selling her Walberswick home, just not the same for her either, such a shame second homes do devalue a feel for a place if not the aesthetics.

Oopps, sorry to moan...

Came on to say hailstones on the east coast and a single crack of thunder that shook the entire building!

The UK has the highest number of tornados per square mile of any country in the world.

Walberswick has been a second home village for ever.

It's totally empty most of the year.

The issue is, in this country people hear "tornado" and think of the mile wide monsters that cut across the plains in tornado alley and scoff, where in reality our tornadoes are mostly EF0-1 tiny ropes or rain wrapped and barely visible

The Met Office issued a Yellow Weather Warning this morning covering all of England till 10pm tonight. Did seem a bit last minute though whereas normally they issue a couple of days in advance.
