Some pics from my driveway before setting off to work, biggest tide of the year (10m) combined with a F8 westerly, lovely!

Some consistency would be amazing. But the weather is changing every couple of hours!

Because it’s lovely and sunny right now, but this is on the way;

Scotlandisation of the whole UK's weather.

Better than Walesisation or Irelanding, I suppose.

You see the furthest away from the rain bit?

That's me, that is. We live way to the east partly due to Mrs B having grown up in Exeter.

She says that it was only when she left home for university that she learned that she didn't need to wear a rain coat for 360 days of the year.

There is no water falling from the sky and its been replaced with a bright yellow ball. Anyone know whats going on?

I see it's only a temporary glitch in the matrix and we will be back to normal later.

This is now.

Hopefully, border control won't let Puggit back in when he returns.

Mrs Puggit has just informed me she is turning the heating on. I'd like to point out that the 'not heating after April 1st' is HER rule!

I'm debating the heating. Thermostat in the lounge says 14.5c. It doesn't feel that cold though. 16-17 is comfortable for me normally.

Big windows at the back and SE facing so hopefully the sun will gett the temp up.

And stupidly low cost of living. And stupidly nice, inexpensive skiing. And stupidly near the stupidly nice Croatian coast/Istria.

It's on my retirement list. Switzerland without the wkers and the prices.

Heating will stay on till May in our house - knock it off for one or two days and then it uses just as much gas getting it back to a steady state

However I'm running much lower flow temps compared to last year at the same time and running much longer and it's surprising how much lower the gas usage is for lower/slower/longer

Last year I was running mid 60's flow temps for CH and HW - This year 42 - 46 for CH and separately 82 for HW

It was fking awful. Like really awful. And I have AC at home!
Greetings, fellow Dorkinian. biggrin

I've just bought a portable AC unit, therefore guaranteeing the wettest, coldest summer ever.

2nd half of April is shaping up much better. Even a chance of high pressure sitting over head.

Greetings from Brussels. Leffe in hand!

At last, spring temporarily arrives north. Stood outside early this morning in a T Shirt with a cuppa in the beautiful sun, bouncing around the forest. Happy I can legitimately contribute to the pseudo summer thread (read: spring) thread.
