What does everyone think of this as a tattoo ?

Since 30 September 2014 you don't need to have it done.

looks awesome, but - and I hate to be a pedant - he's fked up the chain and as a cyclist and motorcyclist it will annoy you.
Thanks. If I remember correctly we discussed it and it was always intended to be that way… I think!
Either way it’s been there a few years now and doesn’t worry me. TBH that area needs a bit of a touch up anyway, you can see what was covered up in places.

Cheers guys. It’s taken me a while to decide to go for it. Not something I’ve rushed into or taken lightly at all.

I quite like it... Looking for examples on Google brings your pic up, so doesn't seem like it's been done a lot before, if at all.

The clever twist on the tax disc would be for the franked stamp to be the birthplace.

But you prob thought of that already ?

Original though

Original.

Just not on your forehead.

Didn't know you could buy 4 months tax in 1970.

I'm not old enough to have been taxing cars back then.

Yeah, I got the idea after reading this thread, and I went for a pee thinking of ideas, in the downstairs look is a small picture frame with all the disks from my first car, a 1969 Capri (OJA 375G) and I put two and two together, my dad did buy 4 months once in 1974, missus not really keen though, will work on it, I like the idea, car related, personal and original like you say.

I was born in 1970, hence the date.

I think it's lovely. Great, rich colours and looks sharp. The style reminds me of Andy Marsh. He was going to do a piece for me but said the design was his choice and I needed to trust him... I backed out!
