Heard back and not that impressed. Literally just a price and when can I come in. I had a couple of questions that weren't answered.

Messaged a few others and arranging to go down and have a chat with them about it. Feels better if that makes sense?

How much does everyone pay for theirs? The first place have said it will take six to eight hours and cost £450. Don't think its too bad.

If anyone can recommend somewhere in Dorset or South Somerset that would be great! Happy to wait if need be.

Going to be on my forearm so want it to look good. If the one on my leg fked up I could hide that easily ha.
Defo worth finding the right place, I went to visit 3 before deciding on the one I've now used many times, you'll end up spending alot of time with them as you know.

First place 2 of the artists were smoking weed in the doorway when I arrived and said we can do it now if you like, a diary is clear...not a good sign

Second place seemed to think their reputation was amazing and that's all the mattered, like they would be doing my a favour by tattooing me.

Third place (the one where I've spend alot of hours) I walked in and the studio manager greeted me, asked my name, knew I hadn't been before, ran me through how the process worked, showed me around, made a big deal of how clean the place is and the safety aspect,we talked through designs and he assigned an artist's who had experience with that type of design. We then emailed back and forth to settle on the right one.
They were busy and I waited 6 weeks for an appointment, a good sign in my book.

Sounds like the place you messaged were similar to the 2nd place I visited.

Mine are £70 an hour with the rate reducing if you book a block of hours.

Heard back from someone else...they are saying it will take two to three hours. I like their work and a friend has had two sleeves with them which look good.

They can't do anything until October though (which suits me due to work).

Very very impressive but a pretty ugly thing to have permanently over your whole back IMHO
It looks like a cover up though.

Yes, it does look very black. Can you get inked that black? I don't remember mine being that black, but maybe when fresh and covered in vase line.

Johnny, I see that Kamil has moved to the states - and his old studio is now Six Bullets - they’ve got some very talented guys/girls in there.

Yeah. Stayed under Kamil's name for a bit after Pawel & Basia bought it out, the they changed the name. Still a great studio, and run by great people.

I agree. If you want to wear tights, wear tights. At least you an change them to match your trainers.

I think its good as a showpiece for what the artist can do but living somewhere that is shorts and t-shirt every day I certainly wouldn't want that tattoo on me. I don't want to be permanently wearing yoga pants.

Nice ink, looks utterly ridiculous on an actual person

I'd maybe consider something wild like that if I wore a suit and tie to work every day and lived in a cold country and nobody would ever really see it.

I'd quite like a full (arm) sleeve but don't really know what I want and don't want to rush in as I can hardly change it once done biggrin
