Nice one, Gretchen. Sure you can deal with it and sounds like it'll be well worth it! Pics when it's done please.

I’ve booked an entire day as he wants to do it in one. Ouch. But I’m so excited so will grin and bear it. Plus I have a feeling he’s going to be a big thing and move to far off places. It’s happened before haha so I want this piece finished. I’m in with Kyle Warwick for a graffiti portrait of a self portrait from an artist I love. He’s got free rein to interpret in to his style.

Done by a local artist, lovely guy and gentle with the needle and wiping which is always a relief.

Will be back to get my shin done in the new year to complete the half leg.

As lovely as the work is, I think given how dark it is its just going to look like a badly bruised leg in 10 years as the ink bleeds a touch

I'd better not tell the multiple other similar bits of work I've had done in a similar style over the last 20 years, or they might all begin to look like bruises if they find out...

I mean, I'll bow to your greater authority if you'd just let us know what it is?

It really is a work of art, not a style I'd ever get but I love it, stunning tattoo

I'd say it's sort of neo-traditional, but the neon colours are quite unique to Mike's style

Age 50 - Never had a tattoo.

Did the "Service Animal" questionnaire thing at work and said I would get a tattoo of the resulting animal if my team raised £1k for Cancer Research.

Turns out I am an Owl.

Worst thing was I told the team they can choose the tattoo and they came up with this;

That's pretty cool laugh

You could find a good artist that could do that in the sort of 'illustration' style and it'd look good I reckon

Luckily I didn't specify size or where to get it but have had suggestions of the Owl eyes on the nipples as a full chest tattoo which definitely wont happen smile

You don't fancy it as a full back piece then?
