Can someone explain the recent fashion for multiple tattoos that look like they cost a fiver each?
Whilst I am not a massive fan of tats I can appreciate the art of some of them. But I am seeing a lot of beautiful young people with what can best be described as doodles all over them and I don’t understand what the thought process is.
Saw that same advert and thought the same - just looks crapWhilst I am not a massive fan of tats I can appreciate the art of some of them. But I am seeing a lot of beautiful young people with what can best be described as doodles all over them and I don’t understand what the thought process is.
Maybe so they can say “I’ve got 30 tattoos” or if they are addicted to getting them done it makes it manageable.
Little skill in any of them due to their simplicity

People with stick/poke tattoos - can you show me some inspiration
Where do you want it? My stick and poke are on my fingers so small. An Anchor, a Sunset/rise over water and a Lotus flower. I also have a Mandala on my ear, and side of my face as well as half a larger one behind my ear - although not stick and poke they were done in ‘style’ with a machine as dot work. Back on Wednesday for more on my shin/full leg sleeve.

It’s usually an artist and a needle, no machines.
You can buy do it at home kits but I’d say they’re a real good way to get an infection if you don’t know what you’re doing.
I understand what it is, what I'm essentially asking is - why would one choose to get a poke tattoo versus the usual machine method? You can buy do it at home kits but I’d say they’re a real good way to get an infection if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Does it allow you to have smaller tattoos with greater detail?

For some, one reason might be because it's the oldest way of doing it .. thousands of years old, and pretty much every culture has done it. Some deep anthropological connection
If you ever see an old hippy with Polynesian flower tattoos don't ask about them. Unless you want a two hour story about how they went backpacking around the pacific before everyone was doing it MickTravis665321 said:
