Had another few hours on my right leg sleeve today. Shin was easy. Bottom near my ankle hurts. Knee was rattley but no pain. Will all tie in with the Tiger on my calf and Dragon on upper thigh. Having sessions every two weeks in to June (with the start of lower left leg with Kyle Warwick in between hehe)

Still thinking about colour for my Peo-Knee but swaying toward pale pink with dark pink centres as I rescued an unusually rare Peony Tree from a skip years ago and it’s absolutely huge now with these colour flowers bigger than plates every year.

Love the vibrancy of the colours on that smile

I don't think I could ever commit to getting tattooed with something large because I'd probably change my mind halfway through... lol

Thank you. Just realised I didn’t include the calf pic. I really want the Peonies in a bold colour and will keep it all UV protected in the hope it remains bright for many years.

If I could afford it I probably would! I’d love a biblical back piece. Based on some renaissance painting. The Last Super, Crucification, Birth of Venus type thing in an oil painting style wink

I once saw an incredible leg piece of what looked like a Renaissance painting - literally looked like a fresco on the ceiling of an italian church. I should have asked the guy where he went for it!

It would be a huge juxtaposition but would love it. I’m sure I’ll find an artist but I’d want to make sure I had the time and money to commit to it before starting.

I’m already having withdrawal symptoms and it’s been two days. I’m booked in to June atm but don’t want to go beyond that as will be out in the water over Summer.

I have a small space behind my knee and inner/back of thigh to fill. Still debating what to put there. Toying with the idea of a Hannya mask. Would like a Snake but always think they look too flat when tattooed.

You have a stout leg, Gretchen. I do appreciate a stout leg. However the photos make it appear that you are in possession of just the one. Do you have another?

Aww thank you smile I’ve been working on it for a while. I do indeed have another. Probably strong enough to wrap tightly around your throat. I posted a photo not many posts up from this one. Knock yourself out.

Got it.

A fine pair of stout legs if I might say so. The wrapping tightly round my throat sounds more appealing than it probably should.

I’ll have you know that’s my back hair. I’ll shave it if and when I start a piece there.

I've had a few hours done today, was meant to be a full day but my skin just bleeding too much! So we called time, going to let it recover and go again hopefully soon.
Anyone else had it bleed too much and what have you done to combat it?

No, you see the problem is... things have been going OK, and so I have stayed on the right side of the law.... and then the tattoo doesn't matter much (except in job interviews).

Now if things change and I have to turn to a life of crime (just imagine some kind of John Wick return... John Wick 42, and he likes pies!), that tattoo is a distinguishing feature, making it more likely they will track me down, and they are so unique it will be with you until after you are dead (which if they send an assassin might be sooner than you expect) but at least allow them to give you a grave stone with your name on it!

Your pay your money and you take your choice, but just remember they are there for a very long time, and they look silly if you get them and then your weight changes.

I’m out in Gran Canaria and love the look tattoos take on when they get a bit sun brown and worn .
I may be alone in that but I prefer the way they look older than when they are new and clear.
I think my sleeves look better now at 20 years old than they did new
