Anyone else feel there would have been a better way of punishing 10 PS rather than 3 months inside?.
Wonde what 10 PS feels about the subject from what hes written so far im sure given the option of some hard labour or sitting in a cell he would have chosen the hard labour or some other form of punishment.

It takes some bottle to post this on PH. Truly Humbling stuff. If its OK I would like to print it all off and let my wife take it into work. She works in the FPD dept at the local school. Its where the trouble makers go when they are too disruptive to main stream classes. To give you some idea, the place has bars on the windows, locked gates and big fences to keep the little darlings in. (or out, if the will takes them to smash the place up)
It might do some of them good to read a well written account of life inside. Most of them will end up inside for drugs or theft related crimes, this might help keep them out.

10p You're looking for work currently right? I'm wondering if theres "work" available going around all the 6th form colleges and putting some of this infront of 17-18yo kids.... If you're not busy hunting for proper jobs that is.
Not a bad idea, might have more effect than the "Speed Kills" messages.Keep the installments coming Dan!
It's horrfying to think you can go from normal bloke to convict in a few seconds of misattention. The OP may have been driving without care etc but I think prison was too harsh. A few months ago I spun the Griff and ended up backwards on the verge. After getting my breath back I was able to drive it home and get on with my life as if nothing had happened. But had there been a cyclist between me and the verge, I'd probably be in jail. It really is as fickle as that - pure luck. And people shouldn't go to jail for being unlucky.

There is an element of recklessness/bad driving required for DD.Edited by Simpo Two on Monday 5th January 17:32

I totally agree but but try telling that to the family of the cyclist. Edited by Simpo Two on Monday 5th January 17:32
