me too, I quite like seeing him on stuff like taskmaster or his little bits on bake off as he seems like a nice guy but mighty boosh and his luxury comedy just did absolutely nothing for me at all. One of the few people I like but don't if you get what I mean.

Holly Walsh and Nina Conti just irritate fk out of me - don't find them remotely funny (and conti isn't that great a ventriloquist either).

Reginald D. Hunter. Mumble, mumble, mumble, pause, grin.

Shame as some of his stuff is quite funny.
Some of that mumbling is y’alls and y’heahs, (you hear?), if you spend a few holidays, swanning between Savannah GA and Valdosta GA, you’ll pick it up as easy as I did.

Arthur Smith. Something of a legend but it must be for something well before my time. And my time goes back quite a long way.

Agree!

Absolutely the worst 'comedian' (doesn't deserve that job description) and the biggest
Sycophant is Nish Kumar.
He doesn't deserve a minute worth of time on the TV yet he manages to weedle his way on to everything.

Josie Lawrence. Wasn't that funny first time around in the heady days of "Whose line is it anyway?", she now jars in "Just a minute", where, inexplicably, she has become a regular fixture.

And on the subject of unfunny comedians reappearing, Zoe Lyons. She must have a new agent: from the incomprehensible TUI channel idents on SKY (lesbian having some sort of thing with married guy who is at same resort with wife and young son) to various Radio 4 panel shows, suddenly she seems to be everywhere.

Glad you brought that one up. Often pops up on radio 4 - but I don’t even think he had a good voice for the radio

With regard to Nish / Zoe et al Dara explained that they have to feature a diverse set of comedians on ethnicity / gender on mock the week. It’s a sad parody of what it one was.

Holly Walsh is a very good writer though. I really liked Motherland recently. Her bit on 8 out of 10 cats about ven diagrams was funny but the rest was mediocre at best. Enjoyed Conti's documentary about vents too.

Can't agree with the Josie Lawrence one. Anyone who can do improv has to have a superior wit in the first place.
Slightly easier to agree with the second suggestion.

My friend suffered Russell Howard a few days ago. She enjoyed his “good news” show and was excited to see he was touring. Rather than the upbeat feeling of “Russell Howard’s Good News” that she had expected, she said it was a boring political rant mixed with puerile attempts at humour.

Dara O'Briain - mildly funny at times, but mostly latches on to a joke another comedian has said at the time (on MTW) and just keeps repeating/modifyig slightly to try to get a laugh. For a very intelligent guy he doesn't appear to put it to much use as a comedian.

i think maybe you've only seen him on mock the week? That's kind of his job on that show.

Brilliant. Here's a compilation of his clips from that show. He is by far and away the funniest person on there. How can you not like Bob?

If you like Bob Mortimer's flights of fancy try his podcast Athletico Mince.
Ostensibly it's a football pod', it's not though.
