Groundbreaking stuff, those heaters.
Depending on which country you're in, it was either the brainchild of a high school student from Edinburgh or somehwere in Germany.
What are these heaters you're talking about?Depending on which country you're in, it was either the brainchild of a high school student from Edinburgh or somehwere in Germany.
You just know a load of suits sat round a table and bashed out the look, it's got to have a log on the front to wow the plebs.

she was on Celebrity Mastermind (and won) but even on that i fast forwarded her bits as I just find her unwatchable. Actually did try but it takes too long to respond to everything and then is just shouting; I'd be interested to see her writing credits as she's clearly not daft, to better understand what else she's done and some of the reasoning for her elevated status.westberks said:

I'm sure she was on another quiz show (Richard Osman ?) and she did very well, so as you say, she isn't stupid, just her delivery is rather annoying.520TORQUES said:

I've also had the adverts come up about how the electricity giants are really worried if this gets out and "don't want you to know this secret": you can apparently get free electricity by connecting some contraption or other into the ground.
It is all a form of comedy when you think about it.

i'm never one to get too annoyed about things like that, but seeing the amazon ad-free thing fked me off. It's like ads are always the secret weapon companies have to screw you, even though the charge model was specifically marketed to not be ad revenue driven from the start. You pay the amazon prime fee and that's where they get their money, not through ads.
amazon is on a rapid downhill towards stness anyway. The retail arm is just full of chinese drop-shipped crap now.
Indeed, it has 100% gone downhill. Much more frequently NOT next day delivery now; I’ve had books that I’ve sent back as damaged (no care); prices are not in any way cheaper than other suppliers, it’s only the fast delivery that is any slight advantage (and as above that is waning).amazon is on a rapid downhill towards stness anyway. Now with the additional charge to get rid of ads, I am cancelling. Load of wk

Keema Bob on Celebrity Pointless tonight. My god she is excruciating
I Googled her to see if her voice is put on. It seems not, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. She is very childish too. If the audience members seen laughing in the clip because they genuinely believe this person is funny ,rather than being financially rewarded , then they should all be painfully tortured as it’s only encouraging more of this st.

Feel free to post some examples of her jokes here and we'll see if she is actually funny.
Cerebral Palsy doesn't make somebody not funny; not being funny makes somebody not funny, regardless of any other factors.
Lost Voice Man; can't speak yet makes for a better stand-up comedian than RJ.
TBH, both Rosie Jones and Lost Voice Guy are dire. Saw both live, on separate occasions, before they appeared on TV. It was painful!Cerebral Palsy doesn't make somebody not funny; not being funny makes somebody not funny, regardless of any other factors.

My wife insisted we go and watch Jack Whitehall when he appeared at our local venue in December. Not a fan but haven't really engaged with anything he's done on TV so I was a neutral observer.
My god it was rubbish, an hour of complete gibberish. My wife was pissing herself throughout, as were others of course, and I assumed it was just me. She then decided she had to watch the Netflix recording of the same tour, from a proper venue but the same material, so I sat there while she wet herself again at jokes about his girlfriend and his dad which were even less funny second time around.
And I've decided, it can't just be me. Not a single memorable joke from the whole set for me. It's on Netflix for anyone that can be arsed.
I totally agree. I saw the Netflix show. Really did not like his forced, over emphasised delivery in his received pronunciation voice. Cannot believe that he so proud of his girlfriend having been snagged by Leonardo Di Caprio. Shame, as Bad Education was enjoyed in our house. Just seems that when someone is successful, they take it too far. The quality is poor, novelty low, and just looks the celeb/comedian is cashing in.My god it was rubbish, an hour of complete gibberish. Don't know how long the show was, but I got up to make dinner. The chore was better than enduring Jack Whitehall's endless drivel.

Is your wife quite posh? Comes from a very comfortable, safe background? A girlfriend I had about ten years ago was and she LOVED Jack Whitehall. She would make us watch his stand up and keep looking at me for my reaction every time he made a joke. My reaction was probably a quiet simmering rage with bulging veins in my temples. My girlfriend after was much more council and introduced me to Micky Flanagan. Again, had no idea who he was at the time, but at least he was naturally funny!

Others definitely agree...I'm one. I will simply turn off as soon as she's introduced, TV or Radio. Just dreadful.Comedy is a skill, delivery, timing, working the audience - she does none of it.
Kind of off-topic to a minor extent; but I've been watching the latest series of Worlds Most Dangerous Roads and episode 4 had Mike Wozniak (who I do like) and an alledged comedian called Ola Labib who I have never heard of or seen before.
She was so rude, obnoxious and unfunny through the whole program it turned me off ever having any interest in seeing her; so much so that I'd deliberately avoid anything that she is on. So I'd like her to the list - Ola Labib.
