Exactly, to say she's 'penniless' is a bit OTT, at the end of the day the mortgage is paid for so what do they really have to worry about? As long as they have jobs to pay the other bills they can lead a rather carefree life. I'm sure most of us here would be grateful to be mortgage free.

I had always understood that Camelot will fix you up with some top rate financial planners if you want - some people just think they know better, dont they?

I guess it will forever be the case though - she is not the first winner to squander most of it ,and she certainly wont be the last.At least she has some property, will serve her well in the future.
